Book 1 was very informative. Lots of information regarding machines, software, etc. worth the read for sure.

Interesting facts about home digitizing.

Very well written book for the first-timer or home business into machine embroidery. I have had other home craft business, but this book lays everything out step by step. Business plan module was very helpful with areas I would not have thought of. Purchasing equipment and supplies was another area I am now putting more thought into. Thank you for taking the time in sharing your wisdom with all.

I purchased this book after deciding to add embroidery to my home based sewing business. I have some of the tools listed that are needed to begin. The information given opened my eyes even more to the work I’ve already done and still need to do. I appreciate the work put into this book! I recommend it for anyone considering embroidery as a service provided to others.

This book has a good overview of the basics needed to get going. I have had my own business since 1982 and still plugging awayIt touched on the essentials and that makes for a great start.

I wanted to learn how to create my own designs and needed guidance on what software is the most suited to my needs. This book gave me insight on what is available out there and the best options. I must admit that the minimum required expense to set up a home business gave me a headache. However, I'm glad that the author reaffirmed that I made a good choice in my single needle, single head embroidery machine. I bought a Brother PE800.I would like very much to become proficient in digitizing so I'm going to read volume 2 next and see what I can learn.

This book was far from accurate, especially when reading it in 2024. Some things of note are that it claims that single head machines don't have thread cutters built in, but that's not true. The book also claims that single head machines are also sewing machines, which isn't true.The editing is poor, and words are left out here and there. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone, even a beginner. You can find much better resources out there by doing simple searches online.

The book is very clear and well layed out the pictures are very helpfull in starting a home business

Je suis trop contente d’être tombée sur ce livre. J’ai lu les 2 volumes d’une traite car c’est une mine d’informations. J’y ai appris tellement de choses tant sur le business que sur la manière de gérer le business et de gagner un maximum d’argent. J’ai aussi acheté les vidéos que je vais commencer à visionner en début de semaine. J’avais quelques difficultés à évaluer les livres et j’ai contacté Martin, il m’a répondu et m’a aidé. Super gentil le monsieur. Et au cas ou vous ne le saviez pas quand vous achetez les 2 volumes et les vidéos Martin vous envoie 40 designs gratuites 😉 Vous ne voulez pas rater ça!

It’s only a guide, not it’s course, and that final book, sell CD. If you purchase this book, a lost your money.

not worth it

All this book did was talk about what you need to digitize, which was something i alredy knew. Dissapointed and a waste of money. Also annoyed that i have to give a 5 star rating to get the five free designs
