I ordered this shower mat after reading many of the reviews - the good, the okay and the ugly. The yays definitely out weighed the boos. I was prepared for the rubbery smell and had the bathroom windows wide open. However, when I opened the package, there was no horrific smell, yes it is rubber but nothing to give this product a one star for. I love the length, it fits the entire length of my tub which is exactly what I wanted! As for the slipperiness of it, well people, this is talking about it moving and slipping on the tub, NOT you slipping on it when you have soapy bubbles on it... The suction cups are all over the underside of it and if installed as directed, it does not move at all -- wet tub, place mat down, push down to secure it (I carefully stepped on it all over). It feels great under my feet while in the shower!

Don’t ignore the reviews about a bad smell. I’ve had it 2 months. Initially it smelled kind of plastic-y, but over the last 3 weeks or so, there has been a smell in the bathroom like a cross between onions and body odor. I practically sterilized the bathroom, including taking the guts of the ceiling fan down and cleaning it. Finally figured out it was the mat. I use “ Clean Shower “ spray after showers, so maybe that caused a reaction. No matter the reason, that mat is gone. I don’t even want to try to wash it in the washer.

Love how long it is, but am noticing that it does trap filth and soap scum under it very easily, and I need to wash it with a sponge and dish soap about once a week. Otherwise it's wonderful! Have to edit this post, unfortunately from 4⭐ to 3⭐. Still like the product- though I need to clean it sometimes more than 2x a week. After about 2 weeks of use, the mat (I ordered clear) started to yellow, despite my constant cleaning. I'm not sure if this would be the case with the colored mats. I don't use any products (bath or cleaning) that would cause such staining, so I'm not sure what's going on.

The length is nice, but that's the only positive thing going for it. This thing really stinks. I mean it stinks so bad that I can't keep it in the bathtub without wanting to vomit. It made the whole bathroom and bedroom stink. That's how strong the odor it as. I tried letting it air our for a couple days outside, washing it... doesn't matter. It just makes everyone nauseous. On top of that, I can't get the mat to stop slipping. I followed the instructions on how to apply it, but once you step on it, it just moves and ripples like loose carpeting.

The bathtub in my new apartment was recently painted, and as a result, is hazardous af. I didn't really want to spend money on a bathtub mat, but after slipping while shaving and catching my fall by desperately clutching onto my shower curtain liner with my ninja-like reflexes, I deemed it a necessity.I chose this mat by Tike Smart for two reasons: 1) Great, not fake looking reviews (mine most definitely is not; I paid full price for this), and because yes, it does matter 2) color. It matches my teal/grey bathroom perfectly, and adds a splash of color to my stark white tragedy tub.I cleaned the tub and applied the mat while it was still wet. It stays in place perfectly, and is actually pretty comfortable to stand on. Most importantly, I can actually feel safe in the shower again. Yay!

Purchased the turquoise (beautiful color) bath mat for our shower and was impressed at how well the mat stuck to the base of the shower! This is one of the best mats I've purchase as it doesn't lose its grip over time and move around once water is on it. Product was shipped and packaged well with a tube in the middle and wrap around the outside. Very little curling once unpackaged and placed in the shower. Mat did have an odor of plastic smell to it once unpackaged--nothing to be concerned about as I'm sure it will disappear with use and time.Mat fit well in our 3.5ft long bath tub, nearly the entire length of the shower floor is covered.I also purchased it in two more colors as well and just waiting for them to arrive. Definitely worth the money!

This bath mat was really nice. I really liked the color, design, length, and the holes throughout to help with drainage. Unfortunately, this bath mat did not work for us. It smelt very strong (a chemical -like) smell that was very overpowering. But I figured the new smell would just wear off after a while, but even in the water it was so strong. I noticed we were very itchy the whole week we had it in the tub and my daughter broke out in a rash. I decided to take the bath mat out and see if that was the problem. It was. The itching stopped after we took the bath mat out and cleaned everything to get that smell off of everything. The rash stopped spreading and went away. Really this seems like a great a bath mat, but not something that works with our sensitive skin.

It’s too slippery when you put your wet feet. Threw out the packaging so no chance to return now. But doesn’t make sense to place it in the bathroom where feet will surely be wet.

Finish and over all appeal of the products is very good.

I expected a blue or white colour but received a transparent one which I don’t like much

beats having to pick it up each time and suction is good. Good product!
