We use this filter for our ice machine. It is light enough to not pull the water line and is easy to install. Just be careful not to overtighten.

Great Filter
Very easy installation. Took my 1/4 inch copper tubing nicely and sealed up with no leaks. One thing not mentioned in the instructions is to run about 5 gallons of water through the filter by attaching the inlet end of the filter to your tubing and letting the water flow into a bucket or something similar. This will remove non poisonous carbon dust. If you don't rinse it out, your first few batches will look like snow plowed off asphalt.

Works. Just run some water to a bucket first before hooking up the output side.
Exact replacement for my in Line house filter. Worked great but I did flush out a gallon or two once one end was installed to get out the carbon dust.
