Used this manual chain hoist to lift metal for my skoolie toy hauler build. I cut the rear section for the lights and needed a way to weld this metal section to the roof of the bus. The chain hoist was the cheapest option that worked for me. The build quality is good and the product is easy to use. The lift capacity for the price of a comparable one in the store, is the main reason for purchase. Wish I would have bought this item sooner.

Super easy and great item

Excellent to hoist up with excellent capacity. I needed to hoist up a very heavy and large plumeria to replace the pot with a larger one. Now at age 83 it did the job very well.

This is a well made tool, easy to use in any position, super handy to have for multiple jobs

I got this back 2023 used it few times Now it only pull one way and will not revers. To do that I have to take it a part.Pay $10 more and get your self something reliable.

Purchased this to change a transmission in a boat. Worked as described. Got the job done. I would definitely purchase this again based on my experience.

The hoist is very heavy and bulky. We used it to lift a cast iron keel weighs 550lb and to raise the mast on our sailboat. The ratcheting chain stop does not engage consistently under heavy load that I would not give it 5 star. Handle and chain do feel sturdy and secure enough. Good for the price and occasional use.
