I was recommended this by a Teacher friend as something I should read before starting my PGCE, and boy was he right - this is FASCINATING and very helpful. If you're considering training to be a teacher, this is a book you should definitely read. I did originally start listening to it on Audible, but decided to get the actual book too, firstly because I just like to have something with pages to look at, and also because you can't make sense of all the diagrams with an audiobook. If you're going to go for one or the other, if money's an issue you can get the audiobook with 1 credit if you're signed up to Audible; but otherwise, I'd go for the physical book every time.

An essential read!

This book is a really useful book to learn new teaching ideas. It is very practical and easy to use.

Exzellentes, praxisnahes Buch, sollte meiner Meinung nach eine Standardlektüre im Ref sein. Von der Struktur und Schreibweise (viele Anekdoten) ist es etwas schwerer zu lesen als die nüchternen Lektüren, aber der Inhalt ist Gold wert.
