What's there to say, it's an OEM part so quality is exactly right where it needs to be.It is important to use this oem part on the Radiator only and not the expansion tank (Turbo models) as this is unlike the normal (and aftermarket) radiator cap which is two-way, this piece is one-way which is vital for proper function of the cooling system. Also it is important to only use lower pressure rated caps on the expansion tank.

Went to the dealer and they gave the wrong cap, this one is the one on the radiator (turbo charged cars) doesn’t have a pressure release!!! Original equipment

This is the correct radiator cap for my 2009 WRX. Almost everyone (including Amazon and Subaru dealers) try to sell you the Radiator Reservoir cap (which will let air into the system and possibly cause overheating). After purging the air in the system (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01I40ZQWE?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details), the car runs cooler. "amazonconfirmedfit" says it was wrong, the description says it was right, it was right.

Replaced the aftermarket radiator cap on my STI. Yes, this is the correct, round, 1-way radiator cap that goes on your radiator. The other kind of cap (2 way with "ears") goes on the upper radiator tank.

This goes on your radiator! You don’t have head gasket issues, you upgraded your radiator and it came with a radiator cap. This is a pressure relief cap with a 1 way valve and is meant to be installed on the Subaru radiator, not the surge tank. Hope this helps!
