These are 1.5mm split rings, they are quite strong sand did not bend and retained its strength, perfect for the lobster keyring. The rings that came with the keyring were too large for my needs, and these smaller ones were perfect. Quick delivery from amazon.

I bought these as a replacement for the rings that attach my dog’s tag to his harness and collar. There are lots of them in the bag which is really useful as I feel like I’m frequently having to replace them. They are incredibly strong so it takes some strong fingernails to stretch the ring wide enough for the thicker loops on collars and harnesses. It’s quite fiddly and my husband struggled to do it with his larger fingers. Once the rings are stretched enough to get round the metal loops on the harness, the ring didn’t return to being completely closed (see first loop on the picture). I will double them up to make sure that we don’t lose the ID tag but they’re much stronger than previous versions I have had have been.
