Love these! Purchased these to replace a very long scarf that I used to create scalloped swags on a very long curtain rod. Every time I had to wash/redo or decorate for Christmas it was such a pain as my swags would fall or shift, with the slightest touch. These make perfect, secure swags in seconds. And I just love the layered look, with the shiny satin trim - which gives them an extra boost.Washed on delicate in cold water, dried and used a steamer to steam out the wrinkles, which worked beautifully.Pro tip: purchase the end pieces that are sold separately to give them a finished look.

Bought this for our bathroom, it looks great.It was not sewn badly or cheap looking, as one reviewer said. It had one single string hanging but it seems like someone just forgot to clip it after sewing. I snipped it off and no problems.We have this nice bright window in our bathroom but it is old and has frosted glass, so we never put up a curtain. I am SO glad we decided to get this because it truly brings the room together. I could see these being used in any room honestly, but this one is great.I also remember seeing someone say the color is darker in person. For us, it would have been okay either way so I ordered it anyway. However, this was not the case. It DID look darker while folded up in the pouch but when I took it out and put it up, the color was right. I mean it's a sheer so it makes sense that it will be darker when it doesn't have light behind it.It was hard to capture a decent photo of it on my phone, but I tried and I will post them.

THESE VALANCES ARE VERY POORLY MADE. THE SHEER FABRIC IS OKAY BUT THE EDGING WAS APPLIED POORLY. THE STITCHING IS HIT AND MISS AND I HAD TO IRON THE EDGING TO GET IT TO LAY FLAT. I HAD TO WASH THEM BECAUSE ONE VALANCE WAS DIRTY IN A FOLD. THE SPOT DID NOT COME OUT AFTER I WASHED IT. I WILL THROW THEM AWAY AFTER I USE THEM. THEY WOULD NOT SURVIVE ANOTHER LAUNDERING. I WASHED THEM ON THE GENTLE CYCLE IN A FRONT LOAD WASHER.

This Sheer Voile White Valance is perfect over my wooden blinds, it just makes the room! I originally ordered three of these valances for my Master Bedroom, as I have a very large 72 inch picture window with custom made blinds. So I ordered 3 of these to place over the blinds to soften the look of my room. That it does perfectly! These outstanding valances let the natural light in the room and give class and elegance to my room. I have a white quilt with light pink and dark pink roses on it with an off white background and these valances match it so well.COLOR OF THE VALANCE/Packaging etc INFO and CARE FOR THE VALANCE ETC:The color of this valance is not a super bright white in my opinion, however the color is a very soft white that I like better than such a bright and stark white. Also note that when you take these out of the package, there are lots of fold lines on this valance. What I did to remove the fold lines and fluff up the valances is to place them in the dryer with a very damp kitchen towel for 15 minutes. The steam of the towel got the fold marks out of the valances very well.How to determine how many of these you need:1) For windows that are 32 inches are narrower, you can just place ONE valance (in white) on it and it will look like in the picture on the Amazon description. If you want a more full or gathered look then purchase two of these for your 36 inch wide window.Note that the picture on the valance packaging displays this valance in gold on a 48 inch window with 3 valances (and they are very full and gathered on the top). They are over a wide set of full curtains...2) If you have a 48 inch window (wide), I would suggest at least two of these and if you want a fuller and more elegant look, order three. For me, I am using this set of 2 in my second bedroom with a window width of 48 inches and two valances work just fine and fill up the window nicely. Not too full or too skimpy.3) Length information - This valance is made to be MUCH LONGER than say a standard length valance of just 9 to 12 inches (which are better on a short kitchen sink type window).This valance is made for a window LONGER than 36 inches to show off the window properly. So if you have a window longer than 36 inches say a window 48 inches or 72 inches long, then this is the valance for you and above I have suggested how many you need depending on width.4) Note that I was so happy with my purchase of 3 valances for my Master Bedroom, that I ordered 2 more for my 2nd Bedroom with the 48 inch window (wide). The two fit wonderfully on this window and really show it off. I have a purple print comforter with a pink and white background on a twin bed in this bedroom and the valances really go well with this comforter.5) QUALITY - I found that mine were sewn well and I am happy with the workmanship.6) Care instructions:Wash in Woolite in COLD WATER on the Gentle Cycle if you have this on your washer. You can then tumble dry on LOW for about 20 minutes. Because these are all polyester, they do dry very quickly in the dryer. I added one fabric softener sheet for fluffiness and softness and for soft draping.Highly recommend this valance!!!

I purchased these curtains for a bedroom because I wanted something simple and sheer. I was expecting inexpensive, basic, polyester sheers. What I was not expecting is that the hem was so poorly sewn that I had to break out a needle, thread, and scissors... otherwise, the shoddy workmanship would have been visible. I could have gotten better quality for less money at the local discount store. This is by far the worst online purchase I have made. They look as though they were sewn by a twelve year old, just learning how to use a sewing machine. I am keeping the curtains as they are serving a purpose and not worth the postage to return. I will replace them come springtime, (staying far away from the Stylemaster brand), and will donate them to a charity.

We purchased a set of these for two picture windows. They let plenty of light in, giving it a nice warm, golden tone, but also provide a bit of privacy. The bottom of each layer is trimmed in a shimmery gold satin. The shimmer doesn't show up so well when the light is shining but it adds an elegant accent in the room after dark. The color is true to the picture. The stitching is not the best I've seen if you look closely but you can't really notice any problems when they are hanging. The material feels just as you would expect for the price but drapes nicely and looks very pretty.

Great price and nice! It had the ribbon edges like a satin and it gives great light in the kitchen window on a small tension rod. So easy and looks great I can't complain. Shipping was quick and in very pleased, especially for the price as if I haven't mentioned enough because valances can be expensive! This is cheaper than a panel as it should be for a valance but it's not cheap looking. It finishes a small window for a kitchen very nicely without blocking necessary light. It's not too short either and drapes nicely. I would definitely buy again, I got the sage and it's not a dull sage, but it's a leafy green.

I ordered 5 of them for my living room window to go over the Lorraine Home Fashions Monte Carlo sheers and they look amazing! The material is the same and they are well made. The price for these and the sheers are perfect and make for a very inexpensive window covering that looks elegant.

Wanted to add some colour to a white curtain and these did the trick.
