I definitely do not recommend this product. Soldering wire is garbage, it is impossible to solder it. It's made of a very bad material. very poor quality in soldering machine and other equipment. After one use it all went to the trash. I looked at the good comments and bought it, but I don't understand how a person can make a good comment on it.Don't waste your money..!!

I've not actually turned the solder on yet and I don't intend to. The stand is so light that it has no stability and can fall over incredibly easily. The plug lead is very short, impractically so, which is also not helping with the task of trying to make the stand remain upright with the soldering iron in it. I won't be using this device as I am too conscious of the stand falling over with the solder turned on and having an injury.I appreciate this item is of low cost so quality may be compromised, but safety never should be. I do not think this product should be on sale.

Bad product line up. Poor quality toolset. Soldering digital indicator display partially worked. Half of the display does not display all the temperature figures, so very hard to determine what scale the iron temperature is set. Even in highest presumed setting, it does not even melt the supplied solder.Wire cutter does not even cut, instead the cutter blades slip on snip.Multimeter wires and thin and frail whereby the positive red wire now has a loose connection.Bad quality product set not worth the advertised amount. Personally avoid altogether.Mine has gone stright into the bin. Not worth running though an amazon dispute.Spend a little more for a reputable brand per item.

Perfect set, has everything you need to do it easily and safely. I'd never soldered before, watched a short youtube video and got stuck in! Great little kit. Main dealer wanted £180 per key to change the battery. I brought new shell and battery (check my other reviews) and this and literally did both keys for less £40. Great quality too. Not sure when I'll need it again but highly recommend the set.

Unfortunately I missed the return window by 1 day, as I was waiting on several other bits, or it would have been sent back immediately!!!!! The iron struggled to melt the included solder at full 500C setting. Same with a decent brand of solder.My advice is don't waste your money on this iron, old adage remains....you get what you pay for.NOT A HAPPY PUPPY !!!!

I purchased this soldering iron specifically to tin very small wires. Sadly the tip doesn’t even get hot enough to melt the solder even when set at 400 degrees. I don’t know if it’s a fault with this iron or all of them but it’s not fit for purpose. The iron does heat up but not hot enough at the tipUnfortunately It will be going back and I’ll have to find something else

It's a cheap iron, but I needed one for a project while travelling, and my fancy stuff is still back home in Switzerland, so I bought this. It absolutely does the job. Incredible that you can get a decent enough temperature-controlled iron and a pile of other soldering-adjacent gear for like €20. I couldn't have driven to the big city and spent a day hunting around for all of that for €20!

Comes in a bag with all the items listed in the picture. However as a beginner and after using it to desolder, I soon realise there is no wick included and this is something really useful for desoldering, other than that, pretty decent
