Always Delicious.
This is by far, the best brand on the market for cracklins. They're so full of flavor, not overly salted, and have no preservatives. The crunch is just right. I can eat these without guilt, all day. I have never had a bad or stale bag. I give them to my friends and family. I truly have not had a better tasting brand than Carolina Countey Snacks. Ever.

Good cracklins for not being freshly made
If you've ate them fresh you know nothing bought packaged can compare.. But these come pretty damn close just a little dried out, hard and salty from being packed and distributed. I like the attached fried out fat it melts in your mouth. To each his or her own. Everyone is different.

Mediocre & inconsistent but with potential
Great sale - mediocre product though . . . some pieces tasted stale, and on the whole, there was too much fat on most of the strips, leaving a chalky, pasty aftertaste akin to leaving toothpaste in your mouth for too long. Now, this may be to the liking of some, a personal preference, but I'd suggest trimming about 50% of that soft fat off of them to enhance not only taste but also texture, because the crunchy part is actually quite good. I'm not sure what to recommend about the stale aspect, though: I guess the word "inconsistent" comes to mind, because some were just fine.

Better than what I had expected
This was my 1st time ordering from this company, even though I buy these all the time in our local stores… They are much cheaper online than at the local convenience stores. They were very fresh so yes, I will be buying these again.
