Good writing, believable characters, enjoyable story. Interesting story about Norwegian people coming to America to find land and a new life.

I love Lauraine Snelling’s books; her characters are so real and full of depth. Clara and Dag were two of my favorites; full of life and realistic struggles. I appreciate the candid thoughts shared as they worked through their issues and wished for the story to never end. Another wonderful stroll with Lauraine!
