These are my favorite swim shorts. They fit well, a size L sits low, loose and flat on the waist for an hourglass women's size 10. Tie closure on the front allows for some adjustability in the waist, and a bit of velcro hidden in the overlap of the front closure keeps the front closed and flat. Shorts fit just a bit loose for a smooth line over the hip and rear, a flattering fit for curves, no riding up in the seat. Loose enough in the leg to be easy to swim in. Four inch inseam. They are super soft and dry almost instantly, faster than my swimsuit. Two angled flat pockets up front, and one rectangular one in the back, just large enough for your visa and id, with a sturdy velcro closure. All pockets have smooth seams, sit flat, almost invisibly, and are lined with mesh so they don't collect water. Great for adding coverage to a bikini for running to the store, for going to the pool, or for swimming in.I am getting another pair of these and getting rid of the other swim shorts in the drawer.

I like board shorts. These dry very quickly and are well made. I typically wear a four or a six. I was feeling fat and ordered the mediums. I should have ordered a small. But they hang on my hips and they're fine. I would order again.

I am 5' 5", 160 pounds. I usually wear a size large, but went with the size chart provided and got the recommended xl. They fit perfectly at my butt and legs, but it's a little too loose at my waist (hips, actually, they're pretty low-rise). The drawstring closure is only attached at the front and does not go all the way around, so it isn't much help tightening the shorts. I worry some about them falling down in the waves, but I can tell that a large would be too small everywhere else, so I kept the xl. Fabric is of a good quality, dries quickly, and I expect the shorts to last awhile.

I tried to buy boardshorts from other stores a couple of years ago, but they had leg holes that were way too loose. I like to actually swim instead of lay down in the sun all day, so that didn't work. I was skeptical about getting these (I have the 8" version of them) because I was worried I would have the same problem. Fortunately, my junk doesn't hang out of these as the legs are appropriately fitted and also have a bit of stretch. I have them in black and blue, and only wish I had more variety to choose from. Great shorts, I will be buying them again in the future!

I bought these in a medium because I absolutely hate when the inseam of board shorts rides up and I don’t like to wear a bottom underneath. That being said, these fit a bit loose and I’m not sure how they will hold up in the water. I’m 100% sure that the small would be too tight in the love handle department. They are comfortable and flattering. They are a nice mid rise, not too short or too long. I think if you have thick thighs, these probably won’t be your friend. I wish there was a way to tighten them just a *smidge* more.

Was way too big in the waist and legs and just didn’t fit right and it reeked of perfume or cleaning supplies the room that it was in stunk for weeks after

I'm am 5'5 and 133 lbs and size M fits like a glove. I have a tummy pooch and wide hips and it's difficult to find shorts that are lose enough around the waist without being baggy around the thighs, but these are perfect. They are quite flattering and comfortable. Love the color! I'll be buying a second pair!

These shorts fit great. They are just long enough between my thighs to keep them from rubbing together, which is a problem for my chubby thighs. They are short enough that I still look cute and (if I may flatter myself a bit) sexy. The Velcro works great haven't had a problem with them popping open. No weird pucker when I sit. Fine little coverup shorts.

I debated between SM and XS and the XS was perfect for the fit I wanted, a little snug but not tight. I'm a 28W and 36H for reference. Love that it's a smooth waistband with a tie to adjust and the material dries quickly. Already has seen lots of use!

The shorts are waaay too big and not a true drawstring closure. The hips and waist on the shorts are the same size, so don’t order this if you have curves. (For reference I have 40” hips and 27” waist)My partner ordered them as a surprise for our vacation, the hips fit but the waist is way too big for me and since it’s not a drawstring closure they slip right off. I wasn’t able to try them on until the trip and now I can return them since it’s past the return deadline.
