It is a well made and sturdy ledger with a lot of lines to keep detailed records.

This is 4th year using this product (bought individually and in a 3-pack). Each 12-column book, past and present, has high and consistent quality for the binding (sewn in, not just glued) and paper (flexible but not flimsy) that withstand Heavy Daily usage. Each year, including 2022, has a quality exterior/cover (thick, hard) that withstands gouges by sharp and heavy instruments.USAGE: Daily, to track categorized monthly budgets versus purchases and quarterly subtotals (for business and personal expenses). Entries are written literally top to bottom of the page, with extra notes in thevtop margins. Entries are made using a variety of pens (gel, ball point, and fountain pens) and pencils (number 2 lead in wood sticks and 0.7mm lead in mechanical pencils), and all entries adhere to the paper's surface without fail. These books get banged around a lot (carried in soft duffel bags, hard attache cases, and paper bags).ZERO/MINIMAL DAMAGE AND MINIMAL SMEARS. In all these years, I have had zero damage to the bindings, zero pages falling out, and minimal smears of pen and pencil entries when I spilled fluid on the book or individual pages. Not one problem arose from multiple erasures and/or line-outs made on the same page. All page edges are protected because the outer hard covers extends a little over the edges. Not one exterior surface has scraped off (from gouges) to reveal the hard cardboard underneath.The manufacturing workmanship is outstanding.I STRONGLY recommend this product and manufacturer.
