Fine little cable to extend a mono device - works fine - be sure the length is what you need
Nothing bad about this cable, actually it's quite good & appears rugged. The connectors are on solid and I have not had any signal loss at the other end. I don't use it to extend an IR receiver - my application is just for plain mono audio. Volume was the same at the scanner as it was at the other end when I attached a small speaker the same size as in the scanner.

Worked well as an extension for Audyssey
Appears to be a quality cable. I used it as an extension for the Audyssey microphone to setup the surround sound speakers with an Onkyo receiver. The receiver was in a media closet 40 feet away from the listening position in the living room, and it worked perfectly. The price was reasonable and my expectations were low. Would definitely by again for this purpose. I gave it a 4 because it was only used and may not be used again
