Shipping fast, packaged well, Looks great. I couldn't wait to try this so make an old fashioned within the hour. First I tasted it by itself, alone with nothing to hide or change anything, Heavy clove aroma and taste. Not so much Vanilla. The thing I wanted most and it's in the name, "SMOKED". Nope, didn't taste any of that. Not at all.Is it bad? No, just disappointed in the name verses what I got. Made the old fashioned, a little muddled lemon and two real black cherries and a splash of orange bitters. Good flavor but no smoke flavor. Not long ago I had a "smoked" old fashion at a bar (when we could go there) and they somehow smoke the whiskey or bourbon. It was good. Keep looking, not this product. : IUpdate: I have used the entire bottle. I got used to it. My updated recipe ... 2.5 ounces bourbon, 1/2 ounce Traeger, 3-4 shakes orange bitters, 1/2 slice fresh orange, muddled, 2 black cherries with syrup. Stir and fill with ice. Smashing, literally. As before, not what I was looking for but everyone I serve this to really likes it.

I've been in love with my Traeger grill for ~1.5 years now and use it literally every week and have grilled/smoked everything under the sun. I haven't branched into the drinks yet with the grill, but thought this was a good bet after seeing, what looked like, some very tasty drinks on their app and online.First red flag: the price - I could buy a bottle of liquor cheaper than this. OK, I'll bite the bullet and we'll give it a whirl anyway. I made 3 different cocktails over a few weeks - drinks that I have made before with normal simple syrup and very much enjoy. This Traeger brand ruined every single one of them. The flavor is just absolutely awful! The smoke flavor with the insane sweetness just ruins any drink it goes in. I ended up dumping more drinks out in the drain than actually consuming. On the first one, my wife actually held her nose and chugged the drink like she was in college again, just to not waste it (she's a darling!). I cannot in good faith, make anything with this syrup, even to serve at a party or holiday. It's awful! Save your money and buy a $5 bottle of no name simple syrup at the grocery store and it will be 100x better.

As expensive as the syrup is. It shouldn't mold in less than a month.
