Max Factor Lipstick Marilyn for Women, No. 4 Cabernet, 0.14 Ounce

I really love MUA Erin Parsons' videos, they are from someone who is a professional and loves makeup and does her research on makeup history. One of her favorite makeup icons is Marilyn Monroe, and she supplied some accessible versions of lipcolor in her videos and this was one of them, which happens to be named "Marilyn Red". Never bought a Max Factor product before, but I did now, and the experience was worth it. Love that it's reasonably priced for such a luxurious Old Hollywood glam feel.

I love this lipstick!!! It's the perfect color for me, and I can imagine how lovely it would look with other complexions. I have dark hair and blue eyes. This is a lovely shade of red. It looks the same as the photo shown in the description. I love how moisturizing the lipstick is. It doesn't dry out. I would recommend using a lip liner, if you have lip lines. I use a clear lip liner, however I can imagine it with a liner that is a little darker than the lipstick for a pleasing effect. This lipstick is quite pricey for a Max Factor product, but it was the perfect color for what I want to wear it with. I plan on wearing lighter face and eye makeup to go with it, otherwise it would make me look like a clown. haha :) I really like this lip color.

This series of Reds are beautiful. I have bought one of each of them. The only problem is most of them come with the bullet dislodged and stuck in the cap. More than likely it got hot melted and let go, but it renders it pretty useless. I did go ahead and put the bullets back in but it was a big mess. The formula however is great and these Reds are really different if you like Reds and are comfortable wearing them.

Love this shade. Classic Marilyn Monroe red. Application is smooth. Long lasting. Does not bleed.

I live the color. However, when I opened the lipstick cover, I found the lipstick broken off from the bottom.

My favorite color red wine color. Great quality lipstick. Economical. Leave lips creamy and soft. Moist the lips well.
