I don't usually write a lot of reviews but I'm so excited about this floss I had to take the time. Who gets excited about dental floss?! I know. Crazy. After reading about the scary chemicals that are in most brands of floss out there I've been hunting around for a replacement. Tried Tom's but it's so thick it's almost unusable (and the plastic - yuck). I bought a container of both this and the Wowe silk floss. Both are pleasant and easy to use. Even easier than the floss my dentist sends me home with that has all the chemicals in it. It doesn't break between my teeth, even the teeth that are kind of tight together.The reason I'm going to be sticking with the TreeBird is that black colored floss makes it so easy to see all that ick that's on your teeth. Why someone hasn't thought of this before, I'm not sure. It's definitely motivating me to floss more. The only down side of this floss is that I'm a bit clumsy so I'm a little worried about breaking the glass bottle (the Wowe comes in metal), but I love this floss so much I'm going to keep buying it.Even if I wasn't worried about floss that's biodegradable, I'd still think that this is my favorite dental floss.

I hate the classic floss dispenser. I wanted a refillable biodegradable floss. I have curved bottom front teeth, hence floss slicers. This floss glides through teeth, lasts the entire session. Wraps tightly around your fingers and doesn’t slip. I received a full Glas jar of floss, with two refills. The floss is black and unflavored. It biodegraded in my unheated turned moist compost in 2 months.

So everything about this product is pretty awesome. I have some sharp edges to some of my teeth, so i have to buy a sturdier floss. I was concerned about wasting money, but i wanted and eco-friendly/vegan floss, so I went with this. Let me say, It was a good purchase. This is my new regularly used floss. I do have to say though, I'm slightly disappointed they don't have refills for this (as they do with their other floss type/s), so you have to buy it with the container every time you refill, but for now this works well. For people with noticeably small spaces in between their teeth, this floss may not be for you.

The floss is 5 star floss. It does not break as many do with tight teeth. It is black so you get the satisfaction of seeing the nasty material hiding between your teeth.It comes in a little glass bottle with metal top. no plastic which is a blessing.The loss of one star is only due to it not unwinding with ease. So we need to have bottle open to unwind. A minor annoyance for such a great floss.An aside.. I do not floss every day like my husband but when I do with this floss ,I feel perkier the next day. This seems wacho , I know, but should anyone else note this , let me know.

This was the first biodegradable floss I've tried and I am a big fan. I love the little glass jar it comes in thats easy to use. I noticed this floss is a little thicker than your usual so it took a little more work to get it between some of my teeth, but it was never really an issue. Its black so you can really see all the stuff you're pulling off your teeth. After I finished my first roll i couldn't find any refills though, so I ended up just getting this brands normal biodegradable floss and I actually prefer that one, as it's a little easier to get in between my teeth and i feel like it does a better job of cleaning my teeth off.
