Call comes with a lanyard for easy access in the duck blind. Light, matte finish does not cause a glare that will deter incoming ducks. The sound carries very well. This is a compact call that makes it easy to sound like a mallard. If you're in the market for a new mallard call that wont break the bank, but will help you limit out, give this call a try.

Before you read too much of this, you should know that I'm not an experienced duck hunter. I can't authoritatively verify the quality of the sounds this call makes. That aside, it is a very easy call to make sounds with and does take a bit of abuse. My nephew loves to play with this call and blow it as hard as his lungs will let him. The best sounds, however, come from more gentle blowing and a large variety of duck sounds are available with simple variations of technique. To my inexperienced ears it sounds like the sounds ducks make. The price is hard to go wrong with. If you've got some of those very expensive calls, maybe their nicer but this would be a good back-up.

I ordered this duck call as a prop for a show I'm doing because I wanted an interesting sound effect. Admittedly, I can't really change the pitch of the call, but it's loud and distinctive, which works great for what I want. It was reasonably priced, arrived in a timely fashion, and seems to be made of sturdy plastic (I've already dropped it once. It was fine). I will say the little strappy-thing that comes with it was useless to me- there's nothing to loop it around to keep it on there. Hence, I dropped it already. I'm sure you could figure out a way to attach it to something, though. I'd say it's a good buy, though I'm no hunter.

My son is an avid duck hunter, he was really impressed with the quality and the price of this duck call. He is a collector of duck calls so that says a lot. This is a great price.

The first time I went out with this I didn’t know anything about calling, but as I was on the lake in a boat leaving for the day, we saw a lone mallard and he flew over and I called him, he came right back. The picture is from that day with the call hanging from my neck. I am a beginner duck hunter and never used a call before I got this, it works.

Better than not having one but probably should of spent a little more for a much better one. I would suggest upgrading to a better call, because it's the second most important item

This thing makes cool squawking noises. Whether ducks like it is TBD. My skill with it so far (5 minutes practice) will probably scare the duckies off instead of luring them! (I shoot, but only pictures!) WARNING! Don't let your kids play with it or you'll go bananas! Oh well, if no luck schmoozing birds (they'll probably find me amusing!); it will make a killer New Years party toy!

Easy to use my three year old son can use it. Great call for a beginner

I have bought this product to train my German Shepherd dog for the show ring.. I have seen trainers use this product hence wanted to buy.. it's an excellent product seems like non breakable and tough in quality good to buy... Sounds like a real duck and it's loud.

Der PRIMOS 805 Duck Call – Easy Mallard ist zum Ausprobieren wirklich in Ordnung. Er ist deutlich günstiger als mein teurer Locker, deswegen hatte ich keine allzu hohen Erwartungen. Zum Reinschnuppern in das Thema oder für Gelegenheitsnutzer ist er absolut okay – der Klang ist brauchbar und man bekommt relativ schnell einfache Töne hin. Allerdings merkt man im direkten Vergleich doch, dass er nicht so präzise und voll klingt wie hochwertige Duck Calls. Für den Preis aber eine solide Option, um erste Erfahrungen zu sammeln oder als Ersatz dabei zu haben.
