Her Last Request: A race-against-the-clock crime thriller to save a life before it is too late - DCI Kate Daniels 8

Great to have another Kate Daniels thriller and catch up with the characters. Also the setting in Newcastle where i am from so could picture all the streets etc.I would have gave it 5 stars but found some of the predicaments Kate got herself in unbelievable especially when she got injured,you could not carry on your job without some rest. Also not much interaction between Jo and kate in this story. Still i could not put it down,looking forward to the next series.

I’ve recently had problems with concentration, so I was late starting reading my download of “Her Last Request”, but my goodness me what a book. It doesn’t do it justice to describe it as a page turner, but I literally couldn’t put it down. It builds at a good pace from the first chapter and holds the reader in suspense until the end. I loved it and to me, this is Mari Hannah (and the wonderful DCI Kate Daniels series) at her very best. Highly recommended!

The hook was the prologue and after that it was full steam ahead, I only put it down because of other commitments. Don’t worry if you haven’t read the other books in the series Mari writes in such away that gives you a small context to a new character or situation. This one is intriguingly written which keeps you enthralled. A very topical subject at this time delivered & written on an honest and empathetic manner. Top read, do buy it you won’t be disappointed.

Mari Hannah has once again produced a compelling and fabulous read.Having received this book over night on my kindle I opened it up to read the prologue and was hooked. Reading the whole book in one sitting.It’s great to meet up with Kate Hank and Jo again, but Mari has also weaved in characters from other books in a way that enhances the story. I can’t recommend this read highly enough.

Such an intricately woven storyline! I absolutely loved it and couldn’t put it down. The crossover with the Stone and Oliver series is clever too.

Great book by great author. Kate Daniels is the police officer to trust. Great characters and plot. Thank you .

Wow what a book I just couldn’t put it down! When is someone going to buy the rights to this and make a film it would beFantastic.
