Elementary SCAT Practice Tests: Three Full-Length Verbal and Quantitative Mock Tests with Detailed Answer Explanations (Anthem Learning SCAT (TM) Test Prep)

Pros: I did not have to create sample tests myself. This is the only reason I generously gave it two stars. (Many of the verbal questions were very familiar because I have seen the same questions in some free analogies worksheets sites.)Cons:1. Two verbal section mistakes- the explanations were correct but the letter answers were incorrect. For example, the explanation showed the D is correct but the answer key has C.2. Math- All the explanations for the LCM questions were incorrect. The book also used the wrong formula to calculate the circumference of a circle. Should have had someone who knew basic math and geometry edit the math portions.If I hadn't needed sample tests to practice on asap, I would have not have paid so much money for the book.

When I buy a book like this, I expect the answers to be correct. I should not have to go online to research math equations. For example, this book mistakenly says the perimeter of a circle is Pi(R), when it should be Pi(D) or Pi(R2). It's frustrating because it means that I have to closely review every question.
