Schlage F51A MER 622 Merano Keyed Entry Lever, Matte Black

Love the look of these handles! They were exactly what we were looking for. The matte black color and shape of the handle is perfect!!

We have replaced all of the door knobs in our house with these levers. The quality is obvious and the look is timeless. As we remodel our basement, we keep adding more. Very happy.

I purchased several styles of this same brand and finish for all my interior doors. I rate it 5 stars considering the price. I say that because I also purchased a much expensive set for exterior use and, even though those are superior, they are also far more expensive. Nevertheless, I am very happy with this product.As mentioned, I got approximately 20 sets of different flavors (lock, key, passage, deadbolt). This afforded me the opportunity to gauge quality and quality control for this company. All the locks behaved the same when installing and using the reversible feature. None were tighter or looser than others. They look very fine and feel good to the hand. When replacing existing locks, each should take no more than 10 minutes to do.I did run into an issue reversing the lock-and-key one because the included instructions did not refer to these. I called the company and they emailed me those instructions. They were also easy to call and the person was very helpful.I will leave this review for the other models, as well.

I got an Ultraloq automatic/keypad deadbolt for my front door, so I wanted to replace the locking knob with a passage handle so I couldn't accidentally lock myself out. I knew I wanted a lever style, and singing that wouldn't seem out of place below clean, simple, rounded-square shape matte black keypad, but I also didn't want a super modern looking straight rectangle. This handle is the perfect blend of sleek with a hint of character, feels nice and solid, and was impressively easy to install. I've installed a few different door handles from various brands in the least few months and was honestly not expecting to notice a difference in quality, since they were all in the same price range, but you can absolutely tell Schlage knows what they're doing - the pieces fit together perfectly, the screw placement is well-considered so the handle isn't in the way, and the screws caught their threads more easily than on other brands, so I got this one installed in probably half the time it had just taken me to just remove the one I'd tried previously (let alone installing that one)! I'll sticking with Schlage from now on.
