MOESWiFi RF Smart Light Dimmer Switch, Smart Life/Tuya APP Relay Status Backlight Switch Off RF Remote Control Voice Compatible with Alexa Google Assistants, White Touch

Was kind of skeptical buying a product that I knew nothing about. I recently received an Echo Dot and wanted to try my hand at home automation. I took a chance and bought the MOES dimmer switch. I received it and read the manual which was poorly written. I think MOES should rewrite the model instructions. I was able to interpret the manual and was able to successfully install and set it up with my Echo. It works well and looks nice. Hopefully it will continue to work for a long time.

I had to work my way to install these ones because the box that goes inside the wall is a bit big. So for folks out there looking to have buy these ones: make sure you have enough space. Other than that they are great and easy to install and setup.

Installing these wasn't very hard. However, the app is kind of clunky. It doesn't work very well with Alexa, because rather than Alexa recognizing that it's a shade, it thinks it's a switch. So you have to tell Alexa to turn the shade on. Kind of bizarre.

The switches glow at night extremely faintly, you can only see it when standing next to in. This is a nice touch in the bedroom because you can't see the glow from more than a few feet away, but allows you to see them when you are turning things on.I bought this so that I could control smart bulbs in ceiling fixture independently. This made the installation a bit more difficult.First I hardwired the light to always be on and bypass the switch. This is needed so that the smart bulbs both have power at all times. I wired the positive and negative from the breaker to the switch. This allows the switch to work, and the lights to be powered.Next in the smart life app, I added my bulbs and the switches. Unfortunately alexa does not allow switches in a routine. Instead I had to create scenes in Smart Life.When switch one is turned on, turn on bulb one.When switch one is turned off, turn off bulb one.When bulb one is turned on, turn on switch one.When bulb two is turned off, turn off switch one.The last two are needed to turn on and off the switch light when I control the light by voice. I then did this for the other bulb as well as my back yard light.In Alexa I can then just add the bulbs to allow me to control color and I can turn them off which will trigger the switch to turn off as well. I can also then setup routines in alexa that will turn the lights off after 30 minutes if I wanted to, and the switch will work as expected.

I have to say, so far, I have been pleasantly surprised by this switch. As a long time SmartThings user, I have been looking for a three gang smart switch for my bathrooms in my home to replace the old Leviton switches for the light, vent, and heater in those rooms. I have been looking for Z wave or Zigbee compatibility for quite a while now, and I figured that sooner or later something would get my attention. Well, I bought this switch fully expecting to have no compatibility with SmartThings at all, and I was hoping just to be able to use it with the Smart Life app on my phone in some context. Well guess what: The switch connected seamlessly to my Wi-Fi using the Smart Life app. And I found out pretty quickly that SmartThings links to Smart Life with no problem at all. (You just add it as a device right inside SmartThings). And since SmartThings is a skill in the Alexa app, the world is a beautiful place! All three modules of this three gang switch are fully controllable in SmartThings and with voice control through Alexa. Time will tell if the switch holds up but I’m crossing my fingers!I do have one caveat; the terminals in the switch are very small and seem to be somewhat fragile. They are nowhere near as heavy duty as standard terminals are in conventional switches in the US. It is pretty hard to install when using standard 14 or12 gauge wire. Care needs to be taken as to not break the terminals when pushing the switch back into the box since you are using three poles for three different devices. That’s a lot of wire to fit into a standard 2 x 4 electrical box!Overall however, for form and function, this switch is hard to beat for the price.

I wanted to like this, but Alexa groups cannot be controlled by these smart switches (i.e. pressing the switch turns on all the lights in the living room). Instead, it simply manages the single device to which the switch is attached or a limited selection of Specific devices. Not as beneficial as I had hoped. I was considering changing the wireless Philips Hue switch, but it appears I will still need to use it to operate the groups of lights.Another problem I'm in the same room as my router, but I still have frequent Wi-Fi connection drops.Also the panel needs to be changed to fit flat against the wall because it is bulky and the aisle box needs to be flush as well. The step-by-step installation guide for the software is useful, though. The neutral wire is necessary for the switch to work.The app does not function with more than 20 other wireless apps or wireless devices.Definitely not for novices are the directions. I am a self-taught person who is aware of my limitations. Not for the typical individual, instructions. Not suggested.

Compré varios de este producto mas de 8 y algunos salieron sueltos como se ve en la foto , los pegué con glue/pegante y funciono pero esto no debería venir así ya que los que supuestamente venían bien después de instalados al usarlos se soltaron , se cayo y se rompió.

Funciona excelente. Lo tengo con Alexa y funciona perfecto.Materiales elegantes y de alta calidad ¡Sin logos! eso le da elegancia. Compre unos 10 para mi departamento recién remodelado.Hay dos tipos: con y sin neutro. Eso complica su instalación, porque sin neutro requiere un capacitor incluido que requiere ser conectado correctamente. Con neutro por otro lado, no requiere el capacitor pero sí un cable. Tuvo problemas de intermitencia en un principio y después de unos minutos se apagaban. Tuve que pagar a un técnico para que lo resolviera. Desde entonces quedaron perfectos. Al principio también se salían de línea (no funcionaban con la app ni con Alexa), cuando esto pasa tienes que bajar el interruptor del circuito completo. Me ha sucedido unas 4 o 5 veces al principio, pero ahora ya no ha presentado el problema, es probable que se trate de un tema de mi WiFi. Mes mucho más barato y sencillo que cualquier otro de marca conocida, además no requiere controlador, por lo que es 4 veces más barato. Lo recomiendo.

Si cuentas con el cable neutro, la instalación es súper sencilla. Todo funciona a la perfección. Con Alexa la sincronización es muy rápida.

The media could not be loaded.  Funciona muy bien, es práctico y perfecto con alexa 👌 lo instale yo misma, solo hay que completar el circuito, hay algunos videos en Internet que ayudan con ello.
