First off, this is an extremely well made sketchbook, lies completely flat, has a bookmark and a nice, textured cover. The pages are thick and smooth, but still with a bit of tooth in it. I think this is an excellent sketchbook for doing ink and watercolour wash paintings. Though the paper takes one or two washes of watercolour I have not yet tried it with the techniques I would use on actual watercolour paper, especially wet-on-wet techniques. Dry media would also work on this one, but I personally prefer paper with a bit more tooth for dry media. The paper is thick enough to work with gouache and acrylics, provided too much water is not used(I think it's quite perfect for mixed media. Once I try colour pencils I will update this review. Such a good quality sketchbook. Takes multiple washes. Lays flat. Paper quality just wow. Please bring more of these. Especially the 240 gsm ones!

The 1st thing any charcoal artists look for in a drawing book is at least 160gsm thickness. This wasn’t so! it’s less a drawing book and more a notepad. See, the thing is, u guys are charging a leg for this item and I paid it. But the quality fell short by a mile. And I won’t buy it again. Make ur product qualitatively if you r going to charge an enormous amount anyway. Else you will no 2nd time buyers!

Absolutely amazing. I tried 2 layers of gouache and there was no bleeding or whatsoever. The pages are thick and smooth with a little texture. Can be used for watercolours too. Perfect for practicing.

I'm really happy with this sketchbook, the quality is sooo good and the pages are also thick, you can use watercolour also, I'm not sure about multiple washes but I made an watercolour illustration and it didn't bleef at all! Just go for it!Make sure it's the size you're looking for because it's a small sketchbook and the size is mentioned! I'm very satisfied with this product

I was a little sceptical when I bought this sketchbook. But this sketchbook turned out to be great. The paper is of very nice quality. The texture is perfect. Though it might seem a little expensive, I assure you that you will not regret this purchase.On a sidenote though, 15x15 sketchbook is slightly too small (albeit it looks cute). So consider that before buying it.Edit: I used this for pencil colors and so far it's been great. The paper holds up well.

I'm a beginner in watercolor painting. This sketch book is worth the price, but if you're looking for landscape painting with many layers, go for a higher gsm. It's suitable for botanical paintings and light washes. Texture is finer than cold pressed, but not smooth. The size is perfect for travel sketching. Overall I really liked the product.
