These are pretty good when it comes to screwing something into the likes of plasterboard. You do have to drill a hole slightly bigger than you intend to so these can be pushed through, but once pushed through, and the screw is screwed in, the two 'arms' push outwards and grip the board, becoming tighter the more the screw turns.once in place they stay there, without much fuss. I've used these for putting up pictures, (none being heavy pictures, more your thin framed lightweight ones which need more than a nail hammered in the wall to stay up)I'm not sure if these would be able to withstand the heavier pictures i've put up and, to be honest, i daren't try as the last thing i want is for them to fail, crashing heavy framed mirrors and pictures to the ground. But for light pictures and maybe small shelves, these are great.... and at a good price.

Had fitted a shelf to a plasterboard wall using standard plasterboard fixings but soon noticed the shelf pulling away from the wall.Bought these and first and foremost they fitted into the existing drill holes and the fixing has secured nicely with my shelf now firmly affixed.

A good product that comes with its long screws which are necessary to keep the back wings open holding onto the back of the plaster wall.Easy to install. An 8.5 drill size, I have found to be ideal. You then fold the plugs wings and insert it half way by hand following by slight hammer tapping. Once the screw is in it it forces its wings to open again and hold the plug securely against the plaster wall.Simple but effective.

These are much better than so many wall plugs on the market

Came quickly, was very simple to use you put the wall plug in then the screw and then use your screw driver the wall plug grips the plasterboard to give a good seal when not in brick.This product did it perfectly and the plastic wall plug was good quality not the flimsy plastic that breaks when you look at it I would buy again

AndThe screw don’t take into account any material thickness…

Straight forward installation if you know what you are doing.

These worked better than i had expected.Used for a shelf with no supports.Strong on plasterboard due to otherside gripping on tightly.Make sure to keep screwing until fully locked in on otherside of plasterboard. Once you get it you will know it needs to be screwed in more each time to fully grip. Try testing 1 without putting into wall to see how it works.
