I love these so much I bought 2. The benefits from Salt Lamps are truly something you need to experience for yourself. I placed one in my daughters room and one in my bedroom. My husband snores less, the air feels/ smells cleaner. My daughter sleeps more soundly at night. So far the light bulb that came with it hasn't burnt out and I have had them on for about 2 months straight on high during the day and low at night.

I have always wanted to try one of these and I'm so glad I did. We are planning to buy more as Christmas gifts. Some things you may want to know before purchasing:1) The box it comes in is plain cardboard that fits tightly to the lamp - it doesn't look nice - or even particularly sturdy - but the lamp arrived undamaged. I'm still going to ship these directly to our gift recipients, but if you care how nice the box presents, well, this one would dismay you. ;)2) When we first turned ours on, I noticed a lot of dark black/gray spots on the outside of the lamp, like ink transfer or something like that. I think we'll be able to dremel it off, so I kept the lamp. Since receiving ours, I've noticed several lamps on display in stores and a lot of them have the same spots - I'm now wondering if it is the way the rocks are handled in before the lamps are assembled - like the dark is where the rocks rubbed each other. I don't know what causes it, but I thought some people might want to know about this.3) Remember that you are buying a natural stone - every stone is different and not all sides of the stone are as lovely a shape as what is shown in pictures of salt lamps.3.5) This lamp does not come with an extra bulb - I only mention this because it seems that some others do.4) The base of the lamp is as beautiful as shown.5) We love the dimmer/on/off switch!6) I have this on my bedside table as a getting ready for bed lamp. Just last night, I was staying up later than my hub and I told him he didn't have to leave the salt lamp on for me if it bothered him and he said, "No, I like it - it's soothing."7) You can't beat this price for this size of lamp. As I mentioned, I've noticed these on display all over town during my Christmas shopping. None of the prices compare for this large of a lamp, with such a nice base, and a dimmer switch.Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

I bought this as a secret santa gift and decided to keep it. We put it in our living room and its the perfect mood setter light. We put it on about every night and turn it off before going to bed. Not sure if it changes our mood at all but it looks nice and we really enjoy it.****UPDATED REVIEW 6 months later- I don't believe this has anything to do with the lamp itself so I am not changing the star rating. However, I do want to warn people that it could melt some. We were away for the weekend and came back to find that it had melted!! It still works just fine but the salt crusted onto our sound system speaker and even with a good scrub will remain on there as a salty stain. The speaker is just fine and so is the salt lamp, we will still be using both. But did want to warn others that with humidity, there is a chance this will melt a little. At least thats what we assume happened. The lamp had been off at the time.

Really love nice and easy no assembly one piece has a dial to adkyst brightnessNo over heating been on for 4 days and stone keeps a decent warmth you have to fully cover your hand over to feelEffective in calming natureAs in the nature of what it is it is heavy not in 20 pounds probably less than 5 but as for displaying its not easily tippable but if it is tipped can probably cause huge amounts of harm. Just putti g it put there for those who dont know what they are buyingIt was a worry for me as in it being tipped. It balances well even can be slightly knocked without tipping and for being one peice definitly less dangerous so im 100 percent happy!

This came packed so nicely no worries about breakage at all! Love that it’s dimmable so when it’s time to go to sleep you can just turn it down but when it’s fully on it is nice and bright. Just wasn’t expecting it to be so big and heavy but completely worth it!

Such a wonderful salt lamp! I’m so happy with the quality of this lamp! I’ve wanted one for some time and was so fortunate to be able to purchase this one at a very good price. My lamp is the size stated. It’s large and would be a perfect gift too! In fact, I recommend purchasing a few for just that reason!

We have a few salt lamps around the house and knew our daughter in law would fall in love with them during their Thanksgiving visit. So I ordered ahead of time, and one of her first comments when she came into our home was how much she loved the salt lamps. A couple of days later, we presented her with her own. I truly love this one, solid, oval salt piece. Very attractive! If you haven't experienced a salt lamp, and they are an 'experience', give this one a try!

My salt lamp is huge and looks beautiful. It has so many dimmable levels and hasn't given me any issues do far. I would definately consider buying more for other rooms.The packaging, however, could use more protection. I'm surprised it didn't break upon delivery as there wasn't any bubble wrap inside the box.
