Autofocus USB Camera 4K

I've tried several ELP webcams for comparison, and this was the one I had the most difficulty with. Overall performance was only okay. The pros: it worked without drivers on every platform I tried! It also had good clarity, and edge detection in opencv worked well. It works without trouble on the RPI, as well as the MacOS laptop I recorded the attached video with. This camera is in the upper right of the review, and by far had the worst color reproduction. With white balance correction, and color correction, I was able to make the image usable - but I wanted to demonstrate it with "out of the box" configurations for this video. Overall the camera is easy to use, but I'm not convinced this is the best choice unless you need high resolution edge detection (e.g. with variable digital zoom).

This camera has a clear distortion free field of view. Bare circuit board has the camera attached. Great for fixed locations.

I wish I could give this a better review but I couldn't get it to work. I don't think I was doing anything wrong I just don't think it's as use your friendly As it's made out to be.
