I bought this one to replace one that got damaged.

This is a great addition to my Blendtec. When I originally bought my blender, this jar was not available. This is the perfect size for single serving smoothies, sauces, nut butters, grinding my almond solids into flour after dehydrating them and much more. It arrived very soon after I ordered it and was package well. From the minute it arrived I have used it daily. Great product, great company, great purchase!

Seems like Blendtec developed this to compete with the Bullet and smalled more compact blender versions. I liked that idea when I purchased the Twister jar, but couldn't get it to work as promised. Seller was good to work with in granting refund.

I tried making peanut butter in the Wildside Jar and it failed, over heated the Blendtec and didn't come close to anything that resembled peanut butter.After some research I found the Twister Jar and Twister Lid. Now I make wonderful peanut butter and almond butter, sometimes together in under a minute. Funny thing is after doing this a few times I got a recipe from Vitamix showing me how to make Almond butter with their device (I returned a Vitamix to buy the Blendtec so I had registered that unit). Their recipe said it was moderately difficult to make the almond butter and takes about 11 minutes. I laughed at that because my Blendtec will take 40 seconds to do either peanut butter or almond butter. Only difficult part is the clean up as both are pretty oily and take a little more work to clean up the jars. By the way while the almond butter is a little pricy to make it tastes absolutely wonderful!Making either is as simple as putting in a cup and a half of roasted nuts, salted or unsalted, slowly turning up the speed while turning the Twister Lid, 40 seconds later you have your reward. While not as smooth as store bought butters the flavor is fresh and of course delicious! Sliced apples or some crackers and you are set.I highly recommend this jar and of course the Blendtec!
