[2025 Updated] BlueStars 55+7.5 uF 55/7.5 MFD 370 or 440 Dual Run Capacitor

Hey everyone, just wanted to share a furnace fix that made a huge difference. My furnace was short cycling like crazy, and it was driving me nuts. I checked the old capacitor, and it was reading 10.5 uf, which apparently was still "working" enough to keep it sputtering along. After replacing it with a new one, the airflow is so much better now. The short cycling has completely stopped, which is a massive relief. It's amazing how a small part can cause such big problems. Definitely worth checking if you're having similar issues with your heating system. Highly recommend this fix if your furnace is acting up.

I installed this capacitor while repairing my RV rooftop AC, and it matched the specifications of the original component. The terminals were properly aligned, installation was straightforward, and the overall construction feels solid. Once installed, everything operated normally. It's nice having a UL-certified replacement available. Good replacement capacitor for repairing compatible equipment. Installed and tested to evaluate fitment, build quality, and performance.

Can't yet speak to performance as this is a backup for our Champion pool pump. Looks well made and the size for length and diameter is accurate. Very good fit and finish for this type capacitor and well labeled to confirm the uF and voltage specs. Arrived in perfect condition and appears well made.

Capacitor rating and ul approval is great but shipping in an envelope and supplier box provided no handling protection. Capacitor was badly dented.
