Ready with Standby power
I bought the inverter as a back-up power supply for this winter in case of power cuts. I chose this unit as it has the hard-wire terminals on the front panel so that I can connect more easily to the wiring where I have it located inside my garage. WARNING: DO NOT connect permanently to normal mains wiring - only connect or switch it in circuit only once you have isolated the normal mains supply at your main switch! If you want a 'no-break' setup for your house you will need to buy a separate electronic transfer switch (expensive!)As a pure sine wave unit it will run motors and transformers properly without overheating them (cheaper inverters use a 'modified sine wave' and can cause overheating). This means it will run the pump in the gas boiler, the freezers and the fish pond pump without the risk of damage. So far I have only loaded it up to 2kW, but this was fine and did not even make the internal fans run even after testing for several minutes. The unit comes supplied heavy duty power cables which are essential to use. I chose this 24V unit to reduce the battery input current compared to the usual 12V units used for camping vans etc., but remember that, even for 24V input, for every amp it delivers at 230V for your load it draws around 10 times this current from the 24V battery. You will need to provide two deep-cycle 12V car batteries wired in series and a separate 24V charger (also from Amazon) as this unit does not contain the means to recharge the batteries directly. One word of caution - when testing it there can be a large rather alarming loud spark as the power leads are connected to the battery, when a large internal capacitor charges up. When wiring up your final installation use a proper 150A rated battery isolator switch.

A true high-quality unit. Highly recommended.
There are TON of similar units out there, so it's really hard to thin down the choice. I went with this company based on the logic that they offer a LOT of different options vs. just one option, and those options look intelligent, obviously extra care and cost to design and test them all with different componentry required.I got this unit in 24v 3000-6000watt configuration to handle a high load in my RV with computer, CCTV, heating, refrigeration etc. in my RV.In testing, I put as much load into this unit as possible, I managed to put around 2900watts into it under constant load and it didn't even blink. The fans didn't even need to turn on! (It's so well designed).I also used this unit with my solar 4-panel array on my RV with massively fluctuating DC current availability. This unit kept the 232 volt AC rock steady under all conditions. Not a flicker from my 'sensitive' appliances eg. computer.A true quality product which is well designed. Worth the money. I’m happy to rely on it for my long-term day-to-day life..Highly recommended.UPDATE: After a few months of heavy use, this unit is still outstanding and bomb-proof. One thing I did note however, that when putting extreme loads on this ~2500-3000watt and above, that using 50mm2 Heavy Duty battery cables was ESSENTIAL. Anything smaller and there is significant heat build up because of the 100-120+ Amps it was drawing.

Fantastic inverter.
Purchased this inverter in order to charge laptops, cordless vacuums etc in my motorhome, it works better than expected.I have found it to be totally silent with little or no notable draw from my batteries. I tried my wife's hair dryer, on the high setting it tripped out the inverter which was no surprise as it is a 1800w dryer, but on the low setting worked fine.I considered some of the more expensive better known items but have found this ideal and £100s cheaper very good value for money. Will be recommending this inverter to my friends.

Great, reliable price of kit
Fittes this inverter in my camper and in my brothers builders van for running a low powered microwave. Generally chuffed with it.. only negative if any is that the 12v terminal studs could do with being a tad longer as I used nuts instead id the finger tightening caps that came with it.Overall a great purchase.Check out Bejam Van on YouTube and you'll see me installing it (twice 😄)

This seems well-made and bestows confidence when in operation
I have used this many times for supplying equipment needing 300 to 400 watts at 230-volt; and it has performed well. I have not, so far used it for higher-powered equipment.I don't think I've got the remote-control model.

Good quality.
I needed a all black invertor to use for a job as it would be on show. This did the job, quality looked good and no issues.

It is powerful enough to run a fridge.
A little pricey but it runs my fridge ice box none of the other products I tried could do that.
