VISCONTI TAROTS Cards – 1 December 2002

History, Gold, Beauty! This is hands down the most beautifull Tarot deck I own and it's talking and reading like a dream. These are pip cards and you need to learn how to read those if you are buying.Rich gold undertones are done in a stunning restorative fashion. I love Lo Scarabeo decks as they are not very thick and shuffle easily. I don't have gigantic hands. This deck is perfect in size for me. The reason I love it 😍. I can carry this in my purse as well. I'm getting bang on readings. It can be used to read for clients who feel the luxurious energy of this deck and are now asking me to use my "Golden" cards for fortunetelling. Thankfully this one will be one of my workhorse decks. It's a treat for the senses. I'm a professional Sybil and read cards for predictive purposes.I especially enjoy pip cards as they give such clear answers without pictures coming in the way, because three of swords is not necessarily heartbreak you know, neither the five of cups a huge regret as shown in PC Smith pictures. That's only one interpretation out of many. If you read TdM you will love this deck too. This is old world Tarocchi. No new age BS. No astrology needed. No Kabbalah. None of that overkill. Plain and simple Tarocchi. Game anyone?

This is a Visconti deck and that should already make this a treasure. The images are exact and original. You can see the Empress (I'Imperatrice) with the Imperial Eagle of the Holy Roman Empire. Lovely. I love that the images are exactly as I've read in book. If you want to explore the roots of Tarot I suggest you get this deck

This a gorgeous gold tinted deck by Lo Scarabeo. What stands out the most in this particular remake of Visconti Sforza deck- is surprisingly; the Pips.1. Starting with the Pips- they are gorgeous.2. Court Cards- Now, if you're into ancient/ directional style of reading; the Court Cards in this deck might disappoint you- as most of them are facing straight and not really looking in any direction.3. Trumps- the Trumps are also slightly directionally different from the ones in a regular TdM.The quality of the deck is top notch. It is accompanied with a tiny 'book' for reference, which is surprisingly quite succinct. These cards maybe a tad bit longer (more length) for people with short hands. Definitely a lovely deck to add to your collection. Thank you Lo Scarabeo :)

What no one has mentioned here is that the card stock is paper like and very thin. I understand how easily one can overlook quality because the cards look stunning. I felt it is important to mention the quality because like me it might be important to someone as these cards are expensive.I am disappointed with the card stock because these cards are pricey. I ended up paying a few hundred more as well because I ordered from Atlantic publishers. I wanted to be sure about getting an untouched product which is very important for me. It was an untouched brand new deck. It arrived well and undamagedI have not included the images of the cards because they are available online and there are pictures available in other reviews here as well.I am in 2 minds about keeping this deck. I am leaning towards keeping them because I don’t have any other deck like this. Hope this review helps someone make an informed decision.
