I am just getting into tarot and though I have a couple of more arty decks I really am becoming partial to this one.I usually use playing cards for magic (with a "c" not a "k") so the poker sized deck is perfect for my expectations of what the hand feel of cards should be.They go from a tarot deck to a deck of playing card by removing the major arcana and the knights. After that you can use them any way you can use playing cards.A friend of mine who is a voodoo priestess who I have been learning from did say that the card "f*d" with her because she uses playing cards for divination as well as tarot and that, to her, the tarot images don't coincide with the meanings of the cards as regular cards when she does those readings. So it might not be perfect depending on your understanding, style and usage.I do recommend that you remove the said cards before using the deck for games.I forgot and played poker with some friends. I got a full house and three people died.

Very nice to shuffle. Good feel and size in the hands. Also good clear pictures. A really fun travel sized deck. The storage box is fantastic too.

These are Wonderful Tarot cards. The quality is superb. The box they come in is great! I believe these will be my EDC tarot.

If you came here wondering if these cards are actually the same size as playing cards, know that they are. I posted a photo with a tarot card on top of a regular playing card, and the cards are the exact same height and width. This is a high quality product especially if you're looking for it smaller tarot cards.

I have been looking for the longest time for a deck just like this one. Smaller in size combining the visual of playing cards and tarot cards.The original Tarot cards were playing cards very different than the playing cards of decades past.

I’ve been looking for tarot cards that are specifically used for playing and was so happy to finally find these. They are the same size as standard playing cards and the card stock and printing quality is just as good as a standard Bicycle playing cards. Designed with numbers and pips in the corner makes them ideal as playing cards,but did like that they had the original Ryder Waite images for a little historical flair. I took away one star because for some reason all four knights are listed as jokers,I’d much rather had it marked with a C as the French decks for Cavaliers. I minor complaint. But over all a really nice deck and ideal for use to play old school tarot games. Highly recommended for historical card sharks.

The images are just beautiful and exactly what I want in a larger Tarot deck!!!!, which is so hard to find... . These images are the closest to the originals that I have seen. But the images are very very small. The closest deck I can find to match the images are The Centennial Deck. But this deck would be a great collector's item!The images are just so perfectly beautiful, and if they were in a regular size Tarot deck, I would buy in a heartbeat! As they stand now, they're not really practical as a Tarot deck or a playing deck....but did I mention how beautiful the images are?

This deck combines the trad RWS majors with cartomancy minors so can e used as tarot deck or ( if you remove the knights) a playing card deck. Ingenious!
