Excellent USB Cable with a noticeable shortcoming. If its used to connect to a charger that's wall mounted there is no problem at all. If the charger itself is connected to a power strip or anything else that lies on the floor where kids might step or trip on it, the cable may be damaged with the internal wiring becoming non-functional.

Just what I needed to replace the flimsy charger supplied with my Samsung phone. Still working after the phone has been retired.

Reviewing these is actually kind of difficult. If you had asked me for my initial review, it would've been 5/5 stars, as I was beyond impressed. First, as soon as I unpackaged them, I could feel the quality. They felt as though they could withstand anything. I should also mention I was blown away by the length. As someone who has never used a cord longer than 3 feet, these were a godsend. I would be laying in bed and realize I could literally roll any which way and not have to stay tethered to the one corner where my charger is. I honestly thought these would be my new favorite cables.Aanndd this is where the 4 stars comes in. After about a month, one of the cables simply stopped working. The weird part is it worked on any other micro USB device. I figured it must be my phone itself but all my other cables worked on my phone. The two just refused to work together. Well lucky me, I've got two more spares waiting because I bought the three pack. So I get my second cable, and again, all is great for about a month. After this I started noticing my battery dropping faster than it was charging. This shocked me since I've only ever had this problem with knock off brand items. If you want specifics, the cable was providing 300mA to my Galaxy S5. It was connected to a quality quick charge power brick, which can definately provide more than 300mA. Using my go to charging cord my phone gets 1200mA. This is a shorter cord, but I didn't expect such a drastic change in current transfer from that short of an increase in length.After two of my cables seemed to die on me, I gave the third to a friend who wanted one. So far he hasn't had any of the issues I did, so maybe I just received a bad batch. I debated asking for a return since they were under warranty, but it didn't seem necessary. I'll just stick with my other cable hereon. At the end of the day, yes I can and would recommend this product as my experience may not be the same as yours.

Really useful for long phone charging, also nice to have for console controller support on PC

Bought these for charging my GARMIN Varia UT800 Smart Headlight so I can charge it without removing it from my handlebars. Perfect length and nice that they come as a three pack so I'll have backups.
