This product is great. It worked a treat first time and I have been able to transfer photos and files from my old windows pc to my new iPad. Opens up so many possibilities.

This works perfectly so far. Have been using for a week or so to connect a USB-B Midi to USB-A cable to my older generation iPad for piano learning. My piano app recognises it fine and the fast charge port in the side works too, so at the end of a practice session I have a fully charged iPad. I've got the charging cable (my own) draped over my music stand to help take the weight of the connection to iPad.Very nice and solid feeling little adaptor.If you're using it for piano keyboard connection a few things can knock it out:1) a pre-existing Bluetooth connection. Make sure to disconnect from sound bars etc.2) iPad has gone to lock screen due to inactivity3) your keyboard has shut down due to inactivity.For me it's been a great solution as flat was too noisy for note recognition via device microphone. Very happy with purchase.

Have been using this for a couple of weeks combined with a Sandisk 256GB USB stick. When plugged into my ninth generation iPad, I can use a number of apps to view the content on the USB stick. Great for watching movies on-the-go.

I’ve bought a heap of these lightning to USB adaptors in the past and only the official Apple ones ever last.I use them for connecting an external Audi on DAC do the iOS device and I wanted the new versions which charge the device at the same time. Apples version is around £30 but it’s design is clunky, this is surprisingly better designed than apples.Lightning plus end is a perfect fit, USB 3.0 female end grips the plug fine, lightning charge port seems fine, one really big benefit of this adapter over the Apple one is it when a garter is applied to the lightning socket, if backfeeds 5.0v to the USB end AS WELL as supplying 5.0v to the lightning plug (to charge the device).I’m unsure if this is by design or accident but it extremely handy for power hungry accessories which might otherwise need an active USB hub in between it and the adaptor.Apples 3.0 version does not do this

I bought this to try out a little external USB keyboard I have - out of the box it has a nice braided cable and metal finish with a solid feel to it. Has a secure fit and works either way up. The USB keyboard was recognised straight away after the ‘unlock iphone to use accessory’ message and despite being illuminated I had no issues with power messages when using it. Also tried a couple of USB sticks and they worked fine - showed up in the files app and I could play music and video files. Tested on an iPhone 13 pro with OS 15.5

This product is wonderful, I’ve been using it to record an external mic onto an iPhone with no problems. Just one word of warning I’ve been using this pretty much everyday for the last 12 months and I would suggest leaving the charging plug in, the connection is not as tight as it used to be, I think the springs might have slackened and the connection is iffy. But as I say I’ve been using it a lot. A testimony to it is I’ve just ordered a new one, so all in all a great product.

Will not open files on an iMac. Have not been able to use it, just doesn’t work for me.

It is a lot cheaper than branded version and it works - what more do you need?
