Temptation: The Hunted Series, Book 1

Tantalizing Temptation!
Let me begin my review by saying I’m not usually into the student/professor romance genre. I’ve only read one other, but happened to love it, so I figured I would give this a shot when Ivy emailed me with an offer to read her book. I cannot express how grateful I am to have been given the opportunity to read and review her book because I loved it. I could not put this book down and I went through some serious emotions throughout the entire story line.I will be honest I have very conflicting feelings about the two main characters. Let me start off with Penny. Penny is a 19 year old sophomore in college and starts off sweet, but works herself into an indecisive nut that I just want to shake and yell, “Smarten up!”(As previously mentioned, I went through a roller coaster of emotions). Penny is trying to get over a guy she was intimate with the previous semester, although he didn’t like to put titles on relationships, so they weren’t boyfriend/girlfriend.One day, while leaving a coffee shop she runs into a gorgeous stranger who turns out to be her communications professor. Professor Hunter is unlike Penny’s previous man in so many ways. He is a very assertive man and I will admit I love me a good Alpha and trust me Professor Hunter does not disappoint. He’s dominant, sexy, smart, and intense; all the things that make this girl swoon. To make a long story short they tried to separate but just couldn’t resist each other, and so begins the on again off again relationship. The sex scenes in the book are pretty damn steamy. There are enticing secrets which keep you hooked! I don’t want to give away the entire book, however, I can tell you it’s definitely worth the read! I just never wanted the book to end and when it did, with a cliff hanger I might add, it left me dying in anticipation. I just can’t wait to continue the rest of her series! The first book in this series was outstanding, I personally loved it. Purchase this book, you will not be dissatisfied! Oh and once again thank you Ivy for writing an awesome series and reaching out to me!

suspend your belief
As long as you can suspend your belief in how 27, 19, and 22 year old people act, it’s a nice romance. Friends to lovers to enemies to lovers. Rinse and repeat? Somehow the roommate is the most mature person in the book. Anyway, if you like power tropes where everyone is consenting ages (from an old lady who’s read too many bully high school romances), it’s a spicy, fun book. I probably won’t finish the series though.

📚GOOD READ📚
My hubby and I were looking for a smut book to read “together”, but also at our own pace while on our anniversary trip - THIS BOOK WILL NOT DISAPPOINT 💣🔥I read the sample on kindle and was hooked right away and only after 1 day, I am starting chapter 10! 📖❤️Pro’s:* chapters are short - so if you only have a few minutes to read you can almost guarantee that you’ll never have to stop mid-chapter.* attention grabbing right away - immediate hook and the kindle sample is on point* a good book to read by yourself or with a S.O.Cons:* Now I have to buy and read the other 4 books - I don’t like electronic books, I prefer to have a physical book to hold and flip through the pages while I get lost in my story‼️BUY THE BOOK‼️

Mid
It’s an okay book, the idea is good and there’s potential but honestly it’s more infuriating than enjoyable. I’ve never seen a more stupid main character. The whole time she’s lying about her age while preaching about honesty to James and when she finally gets the truth she still believes what she’s sees online two seconds after deciding she just wants him, she’s so immature and has no rational thoughts, and we see no character development at all, we just get little parts of their backgrounds even when the summary talks about some big secret that’s not even alluded to. We know so little about James that it wouldn’t even matter: I don’t know if I did a good job at expressing that but this book is genuinely frustrating.

Sheesh
This book had tons of sexy hot scenes. Whew. I had to breeze through some of the spicy scenes because I needed to find out the outcome. Her relationship with Tyler was cringey, especially because of how it began. I also dislike her best friend with a passion, but I can't wait to see what's in store for our favorite train wreck. She is a mess indeed and I have to find out how it's going to end.

The first book that got me to start reading
This book was well written. After hating to read, I finally got my passion back for reading. I look forward to reading the other books in this series.

loved it
It’s a teen romance mixed with wild sexuality. It’s not the kind of real life we are used so, if you like reality it’s not for you. Great for those who enjoy fantasies and those who remember how to be young and in love.

J'adore James :)

Quick read for romance afficiniados
Romance, erotica, interesting. The protaganist as expected very clearly defined and a man of every woman's fantasy. Fun to read

James & Penny
I heard about James Hunter in the beautiful and very interesting series “Made of steel.” It made me very curious to know who he was. I love the way Ivy’s show the age gap in TEMPTATION this so passionate book. You can see how different the experiences of life is between the immature Penny and the mature Professor Hunter. I can’t blame either of them for their insecurities and fighting for their Relationship and love to survive. Looking Foward to read Addiction, Book 2 in Hunted series by Ivy Smoak.
