Scranton (Images of America)

As someone who grew up in Scranton in the '50's and 60's, I found this to be a fascinating book, both because of the pictures of buildings that are still in town and the photos and addresses of many that are not. This book would probably not excite anyone who is not interested in Scranton and its history, but, for those of us who are, it is a nice addition to the bookshelf.

This was an excellent picture book of early Scranton. Each page had 2 large photos, with an excellent caption.My only complaint, and it is a small one, is, some of the captions do not note the location of the building in the photo, or, whether or not it is still standing.
