Peerless three-hole. Nice...
I like the design of this Peerless faucet which strikes me as surprisingly elegant at the price.Peerless faucets vary from cheap designs with flimsy bases to faucets that rival the quality of top brands. This faucet does not rival Delta and Moen's build quality. Though it's beautifully designed, the three-hole base is thin metal over plastic. Actually, if you watch the video I've included, you'll see that I can't really see any metal on the underside of the base. It looks like an entirely plastic base with a dipped coating of metal. I know that's not physically possible, but though it is a solid base--unlike some flimsy all-metal Peerless faucet bottoms which rely on plastic bases for rigidity--this base looks from underneath to be entirely plastic. Rigid plastic, to be sure, but still plastic. The faucet comes with a drain stopper assembly, nice at the price. But I don't think this matters. In the end, Peerless, which is owned by the same company that owns Delta, is warranted for a lifetime just like Delta fixtures and you should be able to expect many years of good service from this faucet. This faucet's lifetime warranty removes any real need to worry about longevity issues. Peerless will ship the original purchaser (keep your receipt) a new valve cartridge if you ever have a problem with it.Easily installed, well-built and with a lifetime warranty: if you like the look of the design you will like the faucet. Peerless has some parts in common with upscale Delta, which shares the same corporate owner. Peerless is made for the "value" homeowner-installed market, and this is a very easily installed faucet with good ste-by-step installation instructions.

No complaints!
This is the third Peerless brand faucet that I've installed in our house over the past several months. What can I say? Bathroom faucets eventually wear out. Here's what I used to install this unit. Hot and cold water supply lines (if you don't already have them if this is a new install - be sure to measure the lengths you'll need before you head to the store), a large crescent wrench, channel locks, nylon pipe tape, pliers, and box-end wrenches.I had to uninstall the old unit (that had to be original to the house - about 30 yrs old) and that was a CHORE! Once I got the old unit out, including the downspout and drain plug, the installation of the new unit felt like a breeze!I didn't really need the instructions, since I'd done this for other sinks at our place recently, but I followed them anyway...for the purposes of this review. The instructions and illustrations were easy to understand and follow. The instructions were also complete. I like that! The faucet installation was straightforward, and I recommend connecting the water supply lines before you install the new downspout...this gives you a bit of extra working space under the sink. I always appreciate that when I do any kind of plumbing job. Man, plumbers earn their pay!!Anyway, instead of silicon sealant, I use plastic pipe tape. It's easy to use, and no mess involved. The installation went smoothly once I got the old fixtures removed, and the faucet looks like and works great! No issues, no complaints!5 stars

Beautiful, Easy to Install, Smooth Operation
Peerless is a relatively new division/brand of Delta Faucet. Delta is the largest manufacturer of faucets in the US. Peerless is an upscale brand in the Delta product line. The Elmhurst bathroom faucet comes in three colors: brushed nickel, black and chrome. I have the brushed nickel. It goes with the other fixtures in our bathroom and for my wife it is easier to keep clean, looking nice. She would not allow any other color/finish.The operation of the Elmhurst, like other Peerless fixtures I have, is very smooth. It requires very little effort to open or close the faucet.I do not have any special plumbing skills or experience but these are very easy to replace. I’m not going to tell you that it is a “piece of cake” our faucet is in a bath vanity so you have to do the work laying on your back crammed into a bath cabinet. That would be the same for any faucet. A couple of things to keep in mind to make this easier. One is get a cardboard box to lay across the vanity floor and make yourself a work cushion. Second, wrap the joints with Teflon tape before setting them in the sink. The fittings are tight and I had no issues with leaks. Do not over tighten the fittings. Hand tighten and the ¼ to ½ turn with a pipe wrench is all you need.My wife loves how it looks, operates and most importantly how easy it is to keep clean and nice looking. Water spots simply wipe off.

Nice Faucet for Guest Bathroom
I got a variety of faucets in this Elmhurst line for different bathrooms in my house. This one was for the guest half bath pedestal sink. It makes the sink look at little more elegant and the elevated faucet, higher than normal, makes it more comfortable for people of different heights to use for washing their hands, the only purpose for that sink.Peerless is respectable brand for faucets which I want when I am installing permanent fixtures. It is not a highest tier brand, but it is a great option for budget conscious home improvers, made by the same company who makes Delta. This is a nice faucet. I love the design. It is much better than the builder's grade faucet is is replacing. The piece arrived brand new, not used and in excellent condition. I like the two handle designs like these versus a single lever or knobs. They fit my sinks well. They look a little more elegant. And you can turn them on with the front of your hand and then turn them off with the back of your hand to try to reduce cross contamination. I much prefer these to knobs. Knobs always make me wonder why I am bothering to wash my hands if I am just going to touch the same surface again. So these are great and more sanitary while looking like an upgrade to my bathroom

The name fits - Peerless
This is about my third or fourth Peerless, counting my kitchen faucet set., and I have never encountered a negative before, during, or after installation. In every case they have been easy to install, not requiring complicated installation instructions. Once installed, they have proven to be a nice, tight, leakless fit (that may not even be a word, but it works). The style of this set is simple, clean, understated. The brushed aspect of the finish keeps it from showing every single little dried water drop or soap spot between cleanings, which is nice, too. I like the Peerless brand faucets even better than my Delta, which didn't stay tight for long. You just don't change out your faucet sets that often, but when I do, I look at the Peerless products first.
