A very good internet radio
I've had an internet radio as my bedside radio/alarm clock for a number of years. The first one was a Logitech UE that ceased to be able to connect to certain stations and that meant it wasn't doing what I bought it for so I bought a Ocean Digital which lasted for 4 years but kept dropping wifi connections but it had all the things I needed: a radio that would connect to stations around the world and an alarm clock that had two settings so weekdays could be different to those set for the weekend. Additionally it had a dim facility that set the display at the right level at night. However I was having to reset the wifi too often so I replaced it with Ocean Digital WR-800.Good things:Dual alarmCan connect and store multiple stations from around the world. Can connect to my server to listen my music.Sound is of a good quality. Can dim the display so that at night it is the brightness I require for sleep.Although it has no internal battery after a recent power outage when it was reconnected all the stations and settings including wifi were still as they had been.Remote is practical. Not so good things:The on/off button is a bit temperamental but the remote overcomes that problem. On balance after 3 or so weeks of use I am delighted with it and recommend it.

Fine with Internet radio, streaming from NAS drives and FM. UPDATE
Update after more than a year. Review below still holds true, mostly. For those about to buy, the radio does occasionally act as if it has gone slightly off station. Resulting in a high pitched whine that eventually becomes unlistenable. Fortunately, the solution is easy. Just switch off at the mains AND crucially, unplug the power cable from the rear of the unit. Wait a few seconds, then plug back in and switch on. The radio should then function as normal.Good1. Stylish unit that is well constructed. Sounds very good for the size of speakers. Smaller than it looks on screen, but still a nicely chunky unit.2. Relatively easy to set up using the unit controls. Setup via the remote is more fiddly.3. Works well with Internet radio, FM radio and streaming via Bluetooth from a NAS drive. UpNP also available.4. Up to 99 presets, and search history / play history remembered functions.5. Sleep timers and alarms. Configurable clock settings.Bad1. No app for Apple iPad or iPhone. Control by phone or tablet is via a clunky website method which feels like something from 20 years ago.2. Fiddly little buttons on the unlit remote control. It would have been much better if significantly bigger, and the layout improved.3. Dim setting for clock at night is still quite bright and limited to white numerals, despite the screen being full colour.

Lovely, but unfortunately the station I wanted to listen to is no longer available via Skytune
This is a lovely radio/clock Internet radio and we were delighted with it until the Planet Radio group stopped allowing Skytune to access their radio stations, which means that several of the ones we listen to are no longer available. Buyers beware - do check first on on the Skytune website that the stations you want to listen to over the Internet will be available. Also, beware, the situation may change ...

Easy to use radio but poor sound quality
Had high hopes for this radio, it is easy to use and the internet stations load very quickly, the remote is good and works well, but what let it down for me was the very poor sound quality, you wouldnt really want to listen to music on it at medium to loud volumes and the sound setting make little or no difference. In my opinion it would only serve as a bedside radio to fall asleep to or wake up to as you would not really have it on a high volume for this purpose....can also say on a plus point the display is a nice size and shows a big clock when not in use. Sent mine back just because of the poor sound.

Very good sound quality, but with a less than intuitive user interface.
I have always head trouble listening to FM upstairs and digital is particularly problematic, so an Internet radio was the logical alternative. With a large range of stations available combined with very good quality sound for the price, this radio provides very good value for money. The only weakness, in my opinion, is the poor user interface, which is far from intuitive, so make sure that you are not far away from the (poor) user manual.

Good value internet radio
After very poor performance from two other brand radios (refunded immediately by Amazon) I bought this model which had good reviews. It is well designed, extremely easy to set up and use with pretty good sound. I use it in a room 20 feet by 16 and it carries surprisingly well. Internet stations are handled by Skytune software and is simple. Setting and recalling favourites is also simple. FM reception is variable, nowhere near as good as that of my dirt cheap Donerton stereo radio which doesn't even have an external radio. Still, no complaints as I only want the internet radio section. It is quite light so no hardship to carry it round the house. Amazon was selling this more cheaply than any other site so overall I am very satisfied. PS a decent manual is included.

Easy to set up
My previous Ocean Internet Radio stopped working when the Reciva thing was closed down and I wanted another internet radio because of all the stations that are available. Looked around for about a week and was surprised at the range of items and difference in prices; little to go on really what's the increase in quality between £55 and & £550. Finally decided to go back to Ocean and very pleased with the purchase. The only negative I have found is not being able to dim the display at night without turning the radio off so have to cover it up as I cannot sleep with any light in the room. Good value for money.

Pity about the volume
Was very easy to set up, unfortunately couldn't hear the sound as the volume couldn't be turned up, or down. Item returned.
