SENSAH is one to watch
Much to my surprise, over the last year and a half I've become an intermediate-level recreational road cyclist. Along the way I was sucked into the direct-from-China DIY cycling black hole, and around August 2021 I found myself the proud and doting owner of an open-frame carbon gravel bike, assembled by myself from the ground up using the best Internet bike wrench skills that my $0.00 could buy. Also along the way, many products that were formerly available only via Chinese e-commerce started showing up on Amazon with competitive pricing. This is one of them. Hooray for convenience and fast shipping! As the story goes, Sensah are some of the ex-SRAM engineers who found themselves unceremoniously fired when SRAM moved their manufacturing operations in China away from the Shenzhen area a few years ago. I had originally installed a full Sensah Empire 11-speed groupset with non-carbon levers on my bike. These were a drop-in replacement for the levers, identical to what I had before but with a slight weight savings. This is by no means a bad thing. Many others with far greater knowledge and experience than I have reviewed Sensah kit. To summarize the consensus, Sensah's level of polish and manufacturing quality isn't quite up to Shimano's gold standard (yet), but they're nevertheless a credible option on their own merits, available even in these dark bike-shortage times for immediate purchase by real human beans and at disruptively low prices to boot.I found my own Empire non-carbon levers to be more than adequate for my needs and would have rated them five stars by themselves, so these nearly identical carbon levers are naturally five stars as well. That doesn't mean that these are the best out there, and indeed I did notice a small difference in Shimano's favor when I recently got the opportunity to try an all-105 drivetrain, but price and especially availability count for quite a lot at the moment, and Sensah's value proposition is unbeatable from where I stand. Maybe from where you stand, too.But if not, keep an eye on Sensah anyway. The Shimano-SRAM-Campagnolo groupset oligopoly is ripe for a shakeup. Sensah might be competing on price and sticking to what they know from their SRAM days for now, but the day is coming when they try their hand at competing on quality and features too.Odds and ends:- Be careful during shifting on the higher gears. The shifting mechanism does prevent you from shifting past the highest gear, but try it anyway with too much force and the mechanism can break altogether, ruining the lever. I actually ruined my first pair (non-carbon) for this reason, and I'm replacing my second pair (also non-carbon) with these, making these technically my third pair of Sensah Empire levers. Since my expensive lesson, I've been very careful to never try to shift past the highest gear on either side, and it's second nature by now.- I can confirm that this listing is for the new version 3 of the Sensah Empire levers from late 2020, and the plastic internal part that was prone to breakage on older versions is now made of metal on both sides.- The rear derailleur pull ratios are SRAM compatible only. At the time I ordered these levers, the item description mentioned Shimano compatibility also, which was incorrect but appears to have been fixed. I don't have experience with trying to run a Shimano 11-speed rear derailleur with these levers, but it looks like another reviewer didn't have a good time. Furthermore, the pull ratio information for Shimano 11-speed and SRAM 11-speed are readily available online, and the numbers don't match.- Finally, I can confirm that the front derailleur pull ratio actually is Shimano compatible in some cases. The left lever has four indexed shifting positions for the front derailleur (inner, inner trim, outer trim, outer). Front derailleurs being relatively forgiving as they are, all four positions work fine after proper adjustment on a Shimano 105 FD-R7000. The Tiagra "10-speed" FD and the Ultegra and Dura-Ace "11-speed" FDs have the same pull ratio and should therefore also work.

Excellent road bike shifters
This is a very good quality set of carbon fiber shifters for road bikes, compatible with Shimano, SRAM 11 speed. The components are all solid and VERY lightweight! For the price, this is a great deal on a fantastic carbon fiber road bike shifters and I would definitely recommend.

No warranty from manufacturer or seller!
One of the swifters stop working two months after I purchased it and I can't change gear anymore. There is no fix for it either. I contacted the manufacturer and they said they are not responsible and sent me to talk to Amazon and they only have a 30 days return policy on the item.SO DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Heading says Shimano compatible. Don't believe it.
Shifting is EXTREMELY unreliable for the rear derailleur. Will it go up or down? Who knows. How many cogs will it skip? Who knows. Just dreadful unreliability. I did also have to abandon using the front derailleur shifter, too. Went to Shimano bar end shifters I took off an old tri bike and now use just simple brake levers on the bike drop bars.

Caveat Emptor
If you need shifters for SRAM or Shimano buy SRAM or Shimano shifters!!! The internals on these Sensah Empire shifters is PLASTIC! and WILL NOT last, PERIOD! I understand they have updated to using metal so be sure it's metal if you buy Sensah.
