I used these to replace the oxidized lock on my old, metal, school desk, to which I had no keys. It works perfectly and was so easy to switch out. I also added 2 additional locks to my desk (1 for each of the 2 side drawers) and can now easily lock all 3 with a single key. Convenient and efficient and my belongings are kept safe from sticky fingers.

I just got these yesterday and installed on the front baggage door and the door to the hydraulics on our 5th wheel RV. They were easy to install, fit snugly (I did have to use the large washers from the locks I removed) and all keyed the same. I bought them because I don't like the idea of anyone getting one of these keys from an RV dealer and having access to my trailer. For the money, it is worth the piece of mind.
