Pair of DDM Tuning Bi Xenon Retrofit Mini H1 Projectors V2 Premium,2.5in, W / DDM Slim 55W HID Kit and Mini Gatling Gun Shrouds, (DDM55W.5000K)

Beautiful clarity, solid build quality, BRIGHT. I went with the 5000k/55W. The light is absolutely pure white. Very clean cutoffs, lights up everything with no dark spots anywhere.Used this kit in a retrofit on a 2003 MKIV Jetta TDI. Already had a set of Spec-D tuning headlights with a projector as the low-beam, just replaced that projector with this set. Had to do some plastic cutting/drilling to get these to mount, and they were slightly off-center, so I had to add some washers to my headlight mount and cut away a bit of my projector shroud to get everything (mostly) level (If you need any advice on doing the same thing on a MKIV with Spec-Ds, leave me a comment).Only drawback is in the way that my headlights work, which is shutting off the low beam to turn on the high beam, which means when I flick my switch, the lights go out. For now, I have to pull back on the stalk to keep my lights on (until my wire repair kit arrives). This is remedied by doing a small wire hack to the light stalk and light switch with a VW Wire Repair Kit from ECS. Lots of write-ups on this procedure online. Takes maybe 15 minutes with the right tools.

If your vehicle uses the same headlight for low beam and high beam, be sure to order the proper relay harness. You would think that a bi-xenon kit would include your high beam 2 pin harness, but this kit does not come with the harness. Order yourself a nice relay harness that has the built in high beam switch plug.

I retrofitted these into a set of headlights for my car. They put out great light (I have 6000k lights). Still working fine after 3 months or so. Paint is not the best, so I painted mine black. It would be a great improvement to use thicker wire as they don’t have a lot of material to work with, and fit loosely in most connectors that are crimped on

The comments without exajerados, this product is normal but more expensive, the same illumination of the more economic, any manual or technical data, simple packaging, seem to be Chinese without any label of reference, never responded to my consultations.You do not buy them.

Took over a month to ship!!! Good quality product! I did have to buy additional harness for my custom build. I bought 55watt 6000k.

The kit was complete and installed easily. It looks great and light output is a vast improvement over stock. But, you get what you pay for. The original bulbs they sent looked like 8000k bulbs when I ordered 5000k. They generously sent out another pair and one was correct, the other was still blue. This on top of the nut stripping on the projector, and the cut-off on one side being so loose that I can see it vibrate while driving is why I deducted 3 Stars. If you can afford a nicer kit, get it. If you can’t, then these will be a good placeholder while you save up.

Easy to install if you are comfortable taking your headlight apart. Very reasonable price for excellent light output. DDM Tuning has been my go to for years.

Awesome light output and easy install the light output picture shows them just siting on the rad suport of my truck as i was testing my wiring harness also the lenses on my housings were extremely clouded not yet polished.. the only thing is this kit does not come with a relay harness luckely i had one. I will be buying more sets for my other vehicles

Good product for price

Poor kit. One ballast was defective out of the box, now the replacement does not always light. Other side flickers. No name kit would have been a better option. Poor light output.Projectors are good for the price.
