Another fast paced, nail-biting, suspenseful ending to a Shannara series that won’t disappoint.
The Last Druid was a fitting, (although somewhat disappointing in a purely selfish sort of way), end to the Shannara Series as a whole. Terry Brooks made the comment, “That he didn’t want to leave the world of Shannara open and the whole story incomplete, like other High Fantasy series. The Last Druid was the last book we will see from him about Shannara. It was fast paced and picked up right where The Skaar Invasion ended. Everything about the book was great, and really the only thing I can say is that this was yet another great ending to a Shannara Series. The disappointing part: The length of the “supposedly” last book ever to be written about Shannara. I loved the book and recommend it to any true Brooks fan, (well, I recommend the entire Fall of Shannara series of 4 books), and I hope that Terry Brooks goes back on his word and writes another series or two.

This is not the end
I am a fan of Shannara…this last chapter sounds as a fake end…

Truly worth all the years of anticipation!!!!!
I started this series in 1977. I was thrilled to read every book Terry Brooks has written. I felt great sadness with each book's passing. This last series ( the fall of Shannara was so welcomed. I loved all of them!! My only regret is there are no more. Thank you Mr. Brooks for your amazing imagination and storytelling. Your Shannara series was a big part of my life for the last 43 years. Now, I hope to see your books turn into epic fantasy movies as big if not better than the Lord of the Rings. All the best.

Tame Terry
I know that Brooks needed to wrap up the saga, but the ending was a little tame.
