To be fair, I need to update my rating from one to four stars: the rancid fishy taste I consistently felt was possible belong to a small batch of the walnuts - so far I do not taste it any longer.

These walnuts are great! They are consistently fresh and tasty. They are my go to nuts. I don't have to search grocery stores for a non racid nut.Thank you for being the best brand for nuts.
