When I followed the maker's instructions, the heating pad was not warm enough. Instructions said that overheating it would ruin the contents but without giving it more time than I should, the pad would be of little use. Very disappointed... and I had bought two!!

Anymore than 2 minutes made it stink a bit. Its much more flexible than a hot water bottle but does not stay hot as long as one. There is a fluffy and smooth side and the smooth side gives of more heat. I took mine to bed to help my Rheumatoid hands and it retained its heat longer being covered up.

Lovely sized heat pad and easy to follow heating instructions.Great quality and a really nice soft material that is very comfy on the effected parts of body(Shoulder).No smell at all from the heat pad.I’d recommend this item to anybody who requires a well made comfortable heat pad.

This heating pad is great for my fibro pain and discomforts especially at night time. I just wish I got the unscented as mine had lavender and after its been heated it absolutely stinks and isn't nice.
