Q: Does stainless steel insert come out

No the insert does not come out, and just FYI it smells very much like chemicals. I purchased it as a gift for my daughter and really don't want her even drinking her coffee from it. Just a very cute mug to look at.

No it does not come with a lid.

Q: Is this mug dishwasher safe?

It seems to be so far. I’ve had it for a few weeks and have put it in the dishwasher and it came out perfectly fine.
