This tape is very fragile. It is prone to tearing and if you have to start the feed again, it will peel in strips instead of lifting off as one solid piece of tape. It does not stick well to cardboard boxes; I've had to use twice the amount of tape I normally would just to tape the tape down so my boxes don't open during moving. If you are thinking of buying this tape for moving purposes, please reconsider. The tearing is very frustrating and wastes time and tape. It's a good thing I got so many rolls with this purchase.

I sell online so I use packing tape regularly but because of the pandemic the places where I usually get my tape were not open so I decided to look online and found this one. Once I received I was really impressed with the thickness of the tape, for the price I was expecting something thinner and to have to give a couple of passes before feeling like the package was secure but this is not the case at all. I would definitely recommend it. 👍

It just doesn't stick well to boxes have to really rub the tape on to get it to stick then sometimes it wants to still peel away :(

I just pulled these out of the box so I’m basing it on handling, smell, size, feel, etc. If something noteworthy shows up when I actually use them I’ll edit this.SMELL: this was my main worry the deciding factor for me buying these instead of a similarly priced/sized brand — a large amount of the other’s (recent) reviews mentioned the smell. These do have a smell but I only notice it when actually holding it to my nose to smell, sort of like a general warehouse smell is best I can describe it, not good but not distracting.STICKINESS: I don’t care too much about this because I mostly ship omnibuses, which are large, heavy books that are usually expensive and rare, so I have to pack them with redundant protection and do a couple loops around the box anyway.ROLL HOLDER: another worry via comments was these wouldn’t fit a holder and people had to do it by hand. You can see in my pictures that it fit into 2 of my old ones fine.FEEL: and continuing the previous topic it’s good that they fit the holder because the sides are noticeably sticky and don’t feel great to hold. It comes off easily enough and doesn’t carry the smell, but it has that feeling where I keep checking my hands expecting them to still be sticky and smell.That’s all for now. If I don’t come back it’s safe to assume everything worked out at least adequately.

So far so good. I'm on my 3rd roll and have had no issues: no foul chemical odors, no issues with uneven/unwanted tears, and no problems sticking to different types of cardboard. Overall this was a great deal and my current go-to packing tape company.

My friend told me about this brand when I was helping them move. The 3M kept peeling off the cardboard boxes and this stuck well. I run an Etsy shop and had been getting frustrated with the tape I bought at costco peeling off boxes on my way to the post office. I switched to this and had no problems this Christmas season! Highly recommend!

Initially i said good. That was before i spent months trying to find a tape dispenser that could hold these rolls and properly cut and do what a tape dispenser does, all to no avail. I'm just getting into my second roll now and I'm still using my bare hands and a pair of scissors. Next time I'll gladly pay more for the convenience of less stress

Sticks to itself well, cardboard less so. Splits lengthwise occasionally.
