I bought this to clean the cooking surface on my griddle. I had been using a sponge or damp rag, but I’ve found that it’s best to clean the griddle top when it’s still warm to hot. That makes using the sponge or rag a little dangerous, so I thought this might be a good option.It works great, and it’s a lot safer. After scraping the surface, I soak the brush in water and then use it to clean the surface while it’s still hot. Then I turn on the griddle so the heat evaporates any moisture before letting it cool and greasing the surface to keep the cure.There are other similar products that cost more, but I am very happy with this purchase.

DOES A GREAT JOB CLEANING GRIL

I purchased a pellet grill last fall, and my SIL recommended this type of brush. I recently slow cooked a tri-tip, and immediately used this, with plenty of water. It cleaned the top surface very well, and if I angled it so an edge fit between the grates, I was able to get virtually all of what dripped below the surface. The water and steam did an excellent job of even releasing the drippings on the bottom. Time will tell how long it lasts. I believe cleaning before the dripping cool and harden will prolong the life of the cover.

I bought this based on the great reviews. It’s nothing special. Works to clean grill but then the sponge part is wet and black. Didn’t want to put back in drawer to store, but can’t leave outside bc absorbs water.

I got rid of my old wire brush as it was starting to drop bristles and I wanted to find a safer grill cleaning brush so I gave this one a try, glad I did.It's easy to use, just warm up the grill, soak the pad in water and start brushing.Produced a lot of steam and the cooked on gunk came right off the flat surfaces very easy.I have to work a little bit to get between each grate but it gets those spots clean as well. If it was a little more flexible, it would probably be easier.Also works extremely well for my griddle.....the fastest cleaning I've had to date.

I tried this as an alternative to higher priced options, figuring the Cusinart name may actually improve the likelihood of it working. Boy was I wrong. By the third use the pad started to tear. I contacted customer support - which was through Cusinart, not Amazon - and even submitted photos. No response. Waste of time and waste of money. On a positive note, the metal scraper worked well.

It works but wore down quickly , the size is good just wish for the price it came with some replacement heads . It's easy to use and sturdy.
