The bar clamp is an excellent invention and it's useful in so many different applications. I hadn't used a mini bar clamp until borrowing a cheap one from my neighbor. I used it to hold and glue a small item. The clamp I borrowed (not the Irwin clamp) was cheap, flimsy, unreliable but with some creative effort it worked. I immediately researched and and ordered the Irwin mini clamp. This product is well made, just like its larger brother, and very sturdy. I've now used this clamp a dozen plus times and it has worked flawlessly. I like the fact that it comes it a two pack. This is very helpful when working with small items and it gives you the flexibility to clamp items in two or more places. For being a mini bar clamp, this item has the ability to create incredible pressure when holding things together. I recommend this product, and suggest that you don't get one of the 'no name' cheap products available. I recommend this product to others and I'm confident it will meet your expectations. Best size & configuration for gunsmithing. Cannot have enough of them around! Threw the "soft pads away immedialely. The plastic in the contact faces seem to be the same material as the plastic "soft" punches I use & I grind custon shapes into the contact faces (as needed). Also very handy when used with a gunsmith's anvil for pin dirifting.

These are well made, but lighter clamps. For heavier jobs you'll need ones with bigger frames.

I use this to open bottles of all sizes. I have arthritis in my hands and was always asking my hubby to open my bottles. One day I got one of his clamps from the garage and it worked perfectly. His was well used so I got a new one. He was rather impressed at my ability to put a work shop staple into another use.

I needed a quick clamp to repair a microwave door handle, and the 6" clamp fits the bill precisely. It's super easy to use, and the ends are soft enough to provide holding pressure without risking scratching the surfaces of the microwave door or handle. I can see a lot of household repair uses for it in the future,.

I use these constantly, and while they are no substitute for an F clamp or even a C clamp, they are perfect when you need a quick hold when gluing up or holding parts in place while you grab what your missing third hand would have been holding.

These are perfect clamps for just about any purpose. I use them to secure things to my work bench prior to drilling, sawing and sanding. Many other uses. So easy to use, and very well designed. One of the most useful things to have around your shop. And a great price. One thing to be careful about: make sure you are careful as you use them or you can pinch the palm of your hand pretty badly between the trigger and the grip. I found this out the hard way!

I already owned ten such clamps when I ordered these. Only two of the others are Irwin Quick-Grips, and the others are somewhat lower in quality. I believe this brand is the very best, and it really is like having a helper right beside you. One hand is all it takes to apply the clamp, loosen it if necessary for re-adjustment, or remove it. And although this is called a mini-clamp, it is of a size that makes it perfect for countless uses around the house or shop.

Used to help hold 2x2s while I screwed them together. Works great! And it's a better price than at the hardware store. Very pleased.

Irwin Quick Grip sind normalerweise die besten Clamps, mit denen ich bisher gearbeitet habe. Leider kommen hier nicht die Clamps mit den gelben Backen wie auf dem Bild sondern die einfache Variante, bei denen die Backen sich nicht verschieben lassen. Weil ich sie dringend brauchte, habe ich sie behalten. Aber ich würde hier nicht noch einmal bestellen.

Great device, works very well, the quick release saves a lot of time. Would buy more if stock was available :)
