The best education bass book I have bought in the past 40 years!
I believe Ariane is one of the best Bass educator's out there. Just like her first book 'Music Theory For The Bass Player' this is immaculately presented, it's precise, well structured and superbly explained. It's an absolute god send for anyone who is serious about becoming a proficient bass player. This method of learning patterns and shapes will provide you with an incredible understanding of the entire fretboard whilst learning major/minor scales, triads, chord progressions through plenty of exercises, homework and complete with over 100 videos.

Excellent resource, but it's up to you to put in the effort!
This is a great book, just like the author's previous work. It's up to students to put in the effort if they want to learn from it. I shouldn't have to say this, but apparently some reviewers think they'll just magically get better without having to do the work.
