The butterflies arrived in a big bag. Each one was flattened with the wings closed. There was a wide range of colors and types (blues, pinks, reds, purples, yellows and a couple greens). They are all sized realistically…about the size of a real butterfly. All of them were affixed to a slender stick by a small spring. Though a few had come off the stick, it was no problem to stick them back on with a spot of superglue.When opened, the butterflies were really beautiful. The wings are a sturdy waterproof material. Though I can imagine many uses for these butterflies, I am using them in funeral/cemetery arrangements, all of which have been outdoors in a variety of weather for the past month. Though I’ve had to pull some silk flowers for touch up, the butterflies still look like new with no fading or water damage. They’re a really nice touch in nearly any arrangement, and are all appropriately sized for any real or silk flowers. The stick make them easy to be a last minute addition. Because the sticks can easily be shortened or bent, I find them quite easy to work with.Above are some pictures. I highly recommend any butterflies made by this company. I will certainly be re-ordering these, but I’m also planning on trying out some of the double-winged ones next. You really can’t beat them for value, especially in terms of quantity, quality, versatility, usefulness and price.Are they giftable? I’d say so…considering what you can do with them! I’d love getting one or more added to an arrangement or receiving my own supply to use. Let your imagination take flight!

I gave these out as an addition to goody bags and the kids loved them! They wanted more! Even the parents commented how pretty the butterfly's are. Great buy, I would purchase again.

Butterflies are bright & cute. Received butterflies in a bag and sticks were in the box, but no springs were in package as described when ordered.

I would have liked a thinner green wire for bending. I did find away to put two butterflies on one stem and sit themOn the tree! Perfect. Top quality compared to Hobby Lobby’s!! Beautiful Butterflies!!!

I don't particularly care for the metal wire with the insert on the butterfly because it doesn't allow the wire to go in far Enough. If it did, these would be a five star. Because the wire doesn't fit far enough inside the butterfly plastic, I'm not sure how well these will hold up outside for a long period of time.

These butterflies added the perfect touch to our butterfly theme baby shower. Very colorful with small, medium and large butterflies on wire stakes for easy arranging in centerpieces.

Great to decor gardens

The Butterflies are small...but very colourful and lifelike, printed both sides, and they look very durable. Little plastic bug bodies in the middle. Time will tell as far as how UV resistant they are and whether or not they stand up to the elements here in Canada (Roasting in Summer, freezing in Winter!. The metal stakes are nice and long and they came bunched/bagged in 3 groups of 25. Made a great gift for Mom.

Well made and very versatile. Bought to do a collage. My students parents ended buying another to gift to student too. So msny in pack and so beautuful. Has many uses. Craft and gsrden.

Although they state they are Glow in the Dark I have yet to find one that does :-( but V pretty and liven up drab corners
