This is a Godsend! So much easier to maneuver. I fit in it better and I just love the armrests! I'm a larger woman that is an amputee so I use a wheelchair alot. This is hands down the best one I've had at this price point!

I have taken my mother through 1 foot of snow with muddy soil in this wheelchair. It went through it with no problems and she was comfortable. It has been over gravel and bumpy sidewalks. This chair is great. The suspension allows it to move on uneven terrain without transferring the bumps to the person in the chair. It can be easily maneuvered with one hand, folds up in literally 5 seconds and it pretty light. The leg rests come off in seconds and have multiple positions that you can raise or lower them to. The sides lift up to transfer the person to another chair or a booth in a restaurant. The wheels can all be adjusted to different heights and if you press on the center hub of the rear wheels, the wheels can be taken off and moved up or down or taken off to make more room in the trunk without the use of tools. I normally just fold the chair up and stick it in the trunk as it takes up very little room. The seat depth as well as the back rest adjusts as well. I would definitely buy this chair again!

Purchased for my wife and arrived in time for our vacation. It is well built, with quality welds, sturdy construction and is very comfortable. I used it as a desk chair at the Inn in our room. It performed well on uneven terrain at the beach. It came fully assembled. Leg Rests / arm rests are simple to attach and remove. Once we arrived at our destination I saw Drive Cruiser X4 frames everywhere we went. Note: The left swingaway footrest was damaged during shipping (cracked corner) and after a pleasant phone call to Drive Medical Technical Support a replacement is on it's way free of charge. Outstanding Customer Service and Product!

The release for the armchair to allow the arm to be folded back, the part that is supposed to be a stop so the arm doesn't go completely over backwards is made of plastic and totally unreliable, they both lasted about a week. My son has to raise one of the arms to transfer from his wheelchair to his living room chair, now the arm flips completely over backwards. I would think that such an important part of the wheelchair would be made from more reliable material. I would not have purchased this chair if I knew the parts were so flimsy. One of the arm pads broke off, left the screws and the metal remainders exposed was a safety issue, I would not recommend this chair, I am looking to buy a more durable and reliable chair for my son. The back of the wheel chair came apart, this is a piece of junk and is not something anyone should purchase for someone who spends a lot of time in their chair.

Wife had knee surgery and had to keep it mostly straight for 6 weeks. Used for doctor appointments and the occasional having dinner out trips. Worked great and was easier to push than the ones we have used when visiting the hospital.

Lightweight but durable wheelchair. Collapses easily, foot pedals easy to attach and detach and angle can be adjusted. Has basic seat with little padding but for sitting a couple of hours.

I got this wheelchair for a small neighborhood clinic, in order to wheel patients out to their car after minor procedures. It has worked just fine, even for heavy patients. Not sure how it would hold up with heavy, constant use, but for our purposes, it has worked great.

we had another version from the same manufacturer.... too narrow, too high, seat not deep enough to be comfortable sitting in for long periods (after the hip replacement).... this one fit perfectly! Great price/value
